The AmericanAirlines Arena is a sports and entertainment arena located in Downtown Miami, Florida along Biscayne Bay. It was constructed beginning in 1998 as a replacement for the Miami Arena and was designed by the architecture firms Arquitectonica and 360 Architecture. The festival coincides with the annual Winter Music Conference, also held in Miami. Collins Bridge
The Collins Bridge was a bridge that crossed Biscayne Bay between Miami and Miami Beach, Florida. At the time it was completed, it was the longest wooden bridge in the world. It was built by farmer and developer John S. Collins (1837–1928) with financial assistance from automotive parts and racing pioneer Carl G. Fisher. Fisher, an auto parts magnate, loaned Collins $50,000 in 1911 ($1.2 million, adjusted for current inflation) to complete the bridge when Collins' money ran out.
Williams Park
Williams Park is in St. Petersburg, Florida, United States. It is the city's first park and encompasses an entire city block between 4th and 3rd Streets North and between 2nd and 1st Avenues North. Founded in 1888 and originally named "City Park," it was changed to Williams Park in honor of the founder of St. Petersburg, John Constantine Williams Sr.
1800 Club
1800 Club is a residential skyscraper in the Edgewater neighborhood of Miami, Florida, United States. It was completed in 2007. The building is located east of Biscayne Boulevard and fronts Margaret Pace Park and Biscayne Bay. The building is 423 feet tall, and contains 40 floors. Floors 1-5 are occupied by retail, while floors 6-40 are residential condominiums and apartments. The building is located at the corner of North Bayshore Drive and Northeast 18th Street.
900 Biscayne Bay
900 Biscayne Bay is a skyscraper in Miami, Florida, United States. It is located in northeastern Downtown, and forms part of the Biscayne Wall, a series of skyscrapers visible from Biscayne Bay along the west side of Biscayne Boulevard. It opened for residential occupancy in early 2008. The tower is 650 feet tall and has 63 floors.

The Biscayne Wall refers to a wall of skyscrapers on the west side of Biscayne Boulevard in Downtown Miami, Florida, United States. The "Biscayne Wall" begins at the Met 1 tower in the Central Business District and ends with the Marquis Residences tower to the north in Park West.
Club Space
Club Space is a large nightclub located in the downtown area of Miami, Florida, owned by Justin Levine and Roman Jones. In the nine years of operation, Space has resided in two buildings. The first was a renovated one-story warehouse consisting of three rooms as well as an outdoor patio area, which was one of the primary reasons the venue was made famous.
Omni International Mall
Omni International Mall was a shopping mall that opened in February 1977 in the northern environs of Downtown Miami's Omni District in Miami-Dade County, Florida, United States. The mall was built in 1977, attached to an existing Jordan Marsh store, with J.C. Penney as the other anchor. It was a mixed-use complex, combining a traditional retail mall with offices and hotel space. Burdines later took over the Jordan Marsh building, closing it in 1992. J.C. Penney closed in 1998.

Established in 1965, the University provides career-focused education in the applied arts and design, and is located in Downtown Miami. The school is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
Bicentennial Park (Miami)
Bicentennial Park is a 30-acre public, urban park in downtown Miami, Florida. The park opened in 1976 on the site of several slips served by the Seaboard Air Line Railroad. It was named "Bicentennial Park" to celebrate the bicentennial of the United States in that same year. Today, Bicentennial Park is maintained by Miami-Dade County Parks and Recreation Department, a public organization that manages all the parks within Miami.

The Sea Isle Marina is a full-service marina located in Downtown Miami's Omni District, Florida, United States. It is located directly behind The Grand Doubletree tower. It is one of three venues that are currently home to the Miami International Boat Show.

The Miami International Boat Show is an annual event in February, produced by the National Marine Manufacturers Association in Miami and Miami Beach, Florida, United States. Over 1,700 companies that are NMMA members, produce more than 80% of the marine products used by recreational boaters and anglers in the United States.
NAP of the Americas
NAP of the Americas is a large data center and Internet exchange point in Miami, Florida, run by Terremark. It hosts one of the instances of the K-root of the Domain Name System. The building has six storeys, and a floor area of around 70,000 square meters. Its construction was completed in 2001.
Miami cannibal attack
The Miami cannibal attack occurred on May 26, 2012, when Rudy Eugene assaulted Ronald Poppo on the MacArthur Causeway in Miami, Florida. During the 18-minute filmed encounter, Eugene (who was himself stripped nude) accused Poppo of stealing his Bible, beat him unconscious, removed Poppo's pants, and bit off most of Poppo's face above the beard, including his left eye, leaving him blind in both.
Miami-Dade County Public Schools
Miami-Dade County Public Schools (M-DCPS) is a public school district serving Miami-Dade County, Florida. Founded in 1885, it is the largest school district in Florida and the Southeastern United States, and the fourth largest in the United States, with a student enrollment of 380,006 as of July 5, 2010. The District is managed by the School Board of Miami-Dade County, which appoints a Superintendent to head the administrative portions of the district.
