Carol City, Florida

Carol City is a former census-designated place in Miami-Dade County, Florida, United States. The population was 61,233 at the 2010 census. Originally called "Coral City" by developers, pressure from the city of Coral Gables forced a name change to Carol City. In 2003 the community was incorporated into the city of Miami Gardens.

Lake Lucerne, Florida

Lake Lucerne is a former census-designated place in Miami-Dade County, Florida, near the Broward County border. The population was 9,132 at the 2000 census. In 2003 the majority of this CDP was incorporated into the city of Miami Gardens and now serves as one of its neighborhoods, including the land where Sun Life Stadium is located.

Sun Life Stadium

Miramar High School is a public high school located in Miramar, Florida. The school opened in 1970 and serves students residing in southwest Broward County; however, magnet students may hail from elsewhere in the county. Miramar High School serves grades 9 through 12.
