Jacksonville, Florida
Jacksonville is the largest city in the U.S. state of Florida by population and the largest city by area in the contiguous United States. It is the county seat of Duval County, with which the city government consolidated in 1968.
Acosta Bridge
The Acosta Bridge spans the St. Johns River in Jacksonville, Florida on a fixed span. It was named for City Councilman St. Elmo W. Acosta, who convinced voters to approve a $950,000 bond issue for the original bridge. It carries SR 13 (six lanes) with the two-track JTA Skyway in the median. Riverplace is a station on the JTA Skyway. It is located at the corner of Mary Street and Flagler Avenue. On the night of March 11, 2009, the Riverplace station was heavily damaged by a fire. The station has been closed and reopened since that time.

Kings Avenue is a station on the JTA Skyway. It is located on Onyx Street between Prudential Drive and Louisa Street, and is the southern terminus of the system. A nearby parking garage operated by the Jacksonville Transportation Authority can be reached by a walkway under Interstate 95. The next station in the line is Riverplace.
Bryan Gooding Planetarium
Bryan Gooding Planetarium in the Alexander Brest Science Theatre is a planetarium in the Museum of Science and History in Jacksonville, Florida, U.S. It was built in 1988 and featured a 60-foot-diameter dome-shaped projection screen, JBL stereo sound system, and a Zeiss Jena Optical mechanical planetarium star projector. The facility has seating for 200, and approximately 60,000 people see a planetarium show each year.
Riverplace Tower
The Riverplace Tower is a 28-floor office building on the south bank of the St. Johns River in Jacksonville, Florida. At the time of its construction, it was the tallest building in the state of Florida and was the defining landmark in Jacksonville's skyline. On April 18, 2012, the American Institute of Architects's Florida Chapter placed the building on its list of Florida Architecture: 100 Years. 100 Places as the Riverplace Tower / Formerly Gulf Life Tower.
Friendship Fountain
Friendship Fountain is a large fountain in Jacksonville, Florida. It is located in St. Johns River Park (also known as Friendship Fountain Park) at the west end of Downtown Jacksonville's Southbank Riverwalk attraction. The world's largest and tallest fountain when it opened, it has been one of Jacksonville's most recognizable and popular attractions. The fountain and park were designed by Jacksonville architect Taylor Hardwick in 1963 and opened in 1965.

Aetna Building
The Aetna Building is a 309 feet, 22-floor highrise building in downtown Jacksonville, Florida. It is also known as Prudential Plaza I or One Prudential Plaza, and formerly as the Prudential Building. It is named for Aetna, which has presence in the building. Completed in 1955, it was the tallest building in the city for 13 years until surpassed by the Riverplace Tower.
Jacksonville Maritime Museum
The Jacksonville Maritime Museum (JMM) - now known as the Jacksonville Maritime Heritage Center - tells the maritime history of Jacksonville, Florida and the First Coast through its connection to the St. Johns River and the Atlantic Ocean. Its collection includes large scale models of ships from the Mayflower to present day vessels, as well as paintings, photographs and artifacts dating to 1562.
