West End, Washington, D.C
The West End is a neighborhood of the Northwest quadrant of Washington, D.C. , bounded by K Street to the south, Rock Creek Park to the west and north, and New Hampshire Avenue and 21st Street to the east. The West End is so named because it was the westernmost part of the original Pierre L'Enfant plan for the city of Washington, before the annexation of Georgetown. It is home to the embassies of Qatar and Spain, as well as to the Egyptian Defense Office.
Washington Circle
Washington Circle is a traffic circle in the Northwest quadrant of Washington, D.C. , United States. It is the intersection of 23rd Street, K Street, New Hampshire Avenue, and Pennsylvania Avenue, N.W. , on the border of the Foggy Bottom and West End neighborhoods. The through lanes of K Street travel underneath the circle in a tunnel, while the service lanes intersect the circle.
Columbia Hospital for Women
The Columbia Hospital for Women was a hospital located in Washington, D.C. Originally opening in 1866 as a health-care facility for wives and widows of Civil War soldiers, it moved in 1870 from Thomas Circle to its later location at 2425 L Street, NW in the West End neighborhood. The Columbia became a private, non-profit hospital when President Dwight D. Eisenhower signed legislation transferring it to a board of directors in 1953.

Brickskeller
The Brickskeller (officially The Brickskeller Dining House and Down Home Saloon) was a tavern in Washington, D.C. , located near Dupont Circle across from Rock Creek Park and on the edge of Georgetown, in the Marifex Hotel (now the Brickskeller Inn) building. With 1,032 choices of bottled beer on the beer list, the Brickskeller is listed in Guinness World Records as "the bar with the largest selection of commercially available beers.
P Street Bridge
The P Street Bridge is a 336-foot concrete arch bridge that conveys P Street across Rock Creek and Rock Creek Park between the Georgetown and Dupont Circle neighborhoods of Northwest Washington, D.C. The first bridge at this site was constructed in 1855 and was replaced in 1935 by the current structure. The bridge reopened on July 15, 2004, after a year-long, $3.5-million reconstruction project, the first since its completion in 1935.

Taras Shevchenko (Mol statue)
Taras Shevchenko is a bronze sculpture by Leo Mol. It is located at P Street, between 22nd Street and 23rd Street, N.W. Washington D.C. , near Dupont Circle. The granite monument was carved by Vincent Illuzzi of Barre, Vermont working at Jones Brothers in Barre.
