Gallaudet University
Gallaudet University is a federally chartered university for the education of the deaf and hard of hearing located in Washington, D.C. , on a 99 acres campus. It was the first school for the advanced education of the deaf and hard of hearing in the world, and is still the only higher education institution in which all programs and services are specifically designed to accommodate deaf and hard of hearing students.

American League Park
American League Park was a baseball park that formerly stood in Washington, D.C. , at the corner of Florida Avenue and Trinidad Avenue, NE. It hosted the Washington Senators from April 29, 1901 to September 27, 1902, when the team moved to National Park. That site had been the preferred site for the American League entry, but its usage had been blocked by the National League, which still had rights to the site despite no longer having a franchise in Washington.

Ivy City

The Model Secondary School
Model Secondary School for the Deaf is a school for the deaf in Washington, D.C.. The Model Secondary School for the Deaf Act was signed by President Lyndon B. Johnson on October 15, 1966 (P.L. 89-694). In May 1969, the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health, Education and Welfare and the President of Gallaudet College signed an agreement authorizing the establishment and operation of MSSD at the College.
Carver Langston
Carver Langston is a cluster of two neighborhoods, Carver and Langston, just south of the United States National Arboretum in Northeast Washington, D.C. The two neighborhoods are most often referred to as one, because they are two small triangular neighborhoods that together form a square of land on the western bank of the Anacostia River. Technically under the jurisdiction of the Kingman Park Civic Association, Carver and Langston are nonetheless separate from that neighborhood.
Kingman Park
Kingman Park is a residential neighborhood in the Northeast quadrant of Washington, D.C. , the capital city of the United States. Kingman Park's boundaries are 15th Street NE to the west; C Street SE to the south; Benning Road to the north; and Anacostia Park to the east. The neighborhood is composed primarily of two-story brick rowhouses, most of which were built when the neighborhood was founded in 1928.
Atlas District
The Atlas District (also known as the Atlas or the H Street District) is an arts and entertainment district located in the Near Northeast neighborhood of Washington, DC. It runs along the resurgent H Street Corridor from the outskirts of Union Station to the crossroads with Maryland Ave, Bladensburg Road, and Florida Avenue. The name is not historical. It is part of a neighborhood branding campaign built around the revitalized Atlas Theater.
Arboretum (Washington, D.C.)
Arboretum is a predominantly residential neighborhood located in Northeast Washington, D.C. , tucked into the corner of the National Arboretum. The tiny neighborhood is bounded by New York Avenue NE to the north, R Street NE to the south. The residential area is located North of the National Arboretum and east of Bladensburg Road. It includes the apartment community and three blocks of detached bungalow style homes.
