Nightclub 9:30 is a nightclub and concert venue in Washington, D.C.. The club originally opened in 1980 at 930 F St. NW in downtown Washington (hence the name). Co-owned by Rich Heinecke and Seth Hurwitz, it later moved to its current location at 815 V Street NW, anchoring the eastern end of the U Street Corridor. The 9:30 Club is served by the U Street station of the Washington Metro. The club has a capacity of 1200 people and is a standing-only venue.

Boundary Field
Boundary Field is a former baseball ground located in Washington, D.C. located on a larger block bounded approximately by Georgia Avenue, 5th Street, W Street and Florida Avenue, NW. It was just outside what was then the city limit of Washington, whose northern boundary was Boundary Street (later renamed Florida Avenue). The ground was home to the Washington Senators of the American Association in 1891 and then the National League from 1892 to 1899 after the League absorbed the Association.
Athletic Park (Washington)
Athletic Park is a former baseball ground located in Washington, D.C. The ground was home to the Washington Nationals aka "Statesmen", of the American Association in 1884. The ballfield was located at S Street NW (south); T Street NW (north); and 9th Street NW (east); about a quarter mile southwest of the eventual site of Griffith Stadium. The club folded before the 1884 season ended. The ballpark site is now occupied by residences and education-related buildings.
Florida Avenue
Florida Avenue is a major street in Washington, D.C. It was originally named Boundary Street, because it formed the northern boundary of Pierre L'Enfant's original plan for the Federal City. In 1890, since the city had grown beyond the borders of the original plan, Boundary Street was renamed. The western terminus of Florida Avenue is at Massachusetts Avenue, 22nd Street, and Q Street NW. From that terminus to 9th Street NW, Florida Avenue follows a winding path due to the city's topography.

Brian MacKenzie Infoshop
The Brian MacKenzie Infoshop, named for an American University student active in the radical community who died of a heart condition in 1999, was a radical book and record shop located in the Shaw neighborhood of Washington, D.C.. It served as a bookstore, as well as a community center, hangout, and meeting place for area radicals. The infoshop was entirely volunteer run and brought together works from various anarchist collectives such as AK Press, The Beehive Collective and CrimethInc.

Engine House No. 7 (Washington, D.C.)
Engine House No. 7 is one of the original Fire Station Houses established by the District of Columbia Fire Department in the late 19th century. Built in 1884, Engine House No. 7 was home to Engine Co. No. 7 before the segregation of the Department in 1940 when it then housed the historic first all-black fire squad, Engine Co. No. 4. After Engine Co. No. 4 moved to a new location in 1976, Engine House No. 7 was sold to private owners and turned into a major local art studio.
