The D.C. Armory is an armory and a 10,000-seat multi-purpose arena located in Washington, D.C. managed by the Washington Convention and Sports Authority. The Armory was constructed and opened in 1941, as the headquarters, armory, and training facility for the District of Columbia National Guard. In recent years it has also become a venue for a broad range of events.
Lincoln Park (Washington, D.C.)
Lincoln Park is an urban park located in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Washington, D.C. The largest Capitol Hill Park, Pierre L'Enfant included it in his original 1791 plan for the District of Columbia, intending it for public use. L'Enfant planned it to be the point from which all distances in North America would be measured, although it was not ultimately utilized for this purpose. It was known historically as Lincoln Square.
Carver Langston
Carver Langston is a cluster of two neighborhoods, Carver and Langston, just south of the United States National Arboretum in Northeast Washington, D.C. The two neighborhoods are most often referred to as one, because they are two small triangular neighborhoods that together form a square of land on the western bank of the Anacostia River. Technically under the jurisdiction of the Kingman Park Civic Association, Carver and Langston are nonetheless separate from that neighborhood.
Kingman Park
Kingman Park is a residential neighborhood in the Northeast quadrant of Washington, D.C. , the capital city of the United States. Kingman Park's boundaries are 15th Street NE to the west; C Street SE to the south; Benning Road to the north; and Anacostia Park to the east. The neighborhood is composed primarily of two-story brick rowhouses, most of which were built when the neighborhood was founded in 1928.
Atlas District
The Atlas District (also known as the Atlas or the H Street District) is an arts and entertainment district located in the Near Northeast neighborhood of Washington, DC. It runs along the resurgent H Street Corridor from the outskirts of Union Station to the crossroads with Maryland Ave, Bladensburg Road, and Florida Avenue. The name is not historical. It is part of a neighborhood branding campaign built around the revitalized Atlas Theater.
Alexander Dallas Bache Monument
The Alexander Dallas Bache Monument is the tomb of Alexander Dallas Bache, a noted American scientist and surveyor. Bache died in Newport, Rhode Island in 1867 and was transported to Washington, DC's Congressional Cemetery for burial. American architect Henry Hobson Richardson was commissioned to build a tomb in 1868. The tomb is one of only three examples of a monument designed by Richardson and a rare example of a Richardson structure lacking Romanesque design points.

Eastern High School (Washington, D.C.)
Eastern High School is a public high school located in Washington, D.C.. It educates about 350 students in grades 9 to 10. Eastern High School was a part of the DCPS restructuring project. The school is expecting 1500 students in 2014 into their college ready program. This will make Eastern the 2nd biggest high school in DCPS after Wilson leading with over 1500 students. The school is part of District of Columbia Public Schools. Founded in 1890.
District of Columbia General Hospital
The District of Columbia General Hospital was a hospital located in Washington, D.C.. It was operational from 1806 to its controversial closing by mayor Anthony A. Williams in 2001, as the city was trying to cut costs while recovering from bankruptcy. At the time of its closure, it was the only public hospital located within the district. As of 2012 Dc General Hospital is a Hypothermia family shelter. With over 500+ families living in the facility.
