Wilmington Manor is a census-designated place (CDP) in north-eastern New Castle County, Delaware, United States. The population was 7,889 at the 2010 census.

The Delaware River and Bay Authority or DRBA is a bi-state government agency of the U.S. states of New Jersey and Delaware established by interstate compact in 1962. Daniel S. Frawley Stadium
Daniel S. Frawley Stadium is a stadium in Wilmington, Delaware. It is primarily used for baseball, and is the home field of the Wilmington Blue Rocks minor league baseball team. The park was originally known as Legends Stadium when it was built in 1993. It was renamed in 1994 for Wilmington mayor Daniel S. Frawley, who had pushed for a return of the Blue Rocks. The field is named separately for Judy Johnson, a local Negro league baseball star.

WILM is known as the station where radio and television talk show Joe Pyne developed the confrontational style now standard in radio and TV talk shows. Another well-known WILM personality was Tom Mees who worked at the station in the 1970s. In the 1950s and 1960s WILM, under the ownership of Ewing Hawkins, experimented with various music formats, including Top-40 and MOR (middle-of-the-road).
Delaware Military Academy
The Delaware Military Academy is a publicly funded charter high school in Wilmington, Delaware. The Academy was founded in 2003 by Charles Baldwin, a retired Master Chief Petty Officer from the United States Navy, and Jack Wintermantel, a retired Colonel from the United States Army. All students are required to participate in the Naval Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps, or NJROTC.

Dunleith is a suburb of Wilmington, in New Castle County, Delaware. It was built in the early 1950s, and was the first housing development marketed for African-Americans in Delaware. In 1990, the population was 2,600.

Serviam Girls Academy is a private school in New Castle, Delaware offering classes in grades 5-8 for girls. Established in 2008 as an Ursuline school, it is modeled after schools in the now-defunct NativityMiguel Network of Schools. The current enrollment is approximately 40 students, most of whom live in New Castle, Newark, and the City of Wilmington. The school has a brother school, Nativity Preparatory School, which is located in Wilmington.
