Newport, Delaware
Newport is a town in New Castle County, Delaware, United States. It is located on the Christina River. It is best known for being the home of colonial inventor Oliver Evans. The population was 1,055 at the 2010 census. Four limited access highways, I-95, I-295, I-495, and Delaware Route 141 intersect within one mile (1.6 km) of the town.

Hershey Run
Hershey Run is a 2.9-mile-long stream located in New Castle County, Delaware. It is a tributary of White Clay Creek. It rises on the edge of the Belvedere subdivision on the outskirts of Newport, Delaware and flows southward along the western edge of that town. To the west of the run lies Bread and Cheese Island, cut off by a partly filled back channel between Hershey Run and Red Clay Creek.

St. Catherine of Siena Parish, Wilmington, Delaware
Saint Catherine of Siena Parish is located in Wilmington, Delaware. It has a Roman Catholic church located on Centerville Road with over 1100 families. The original church was founded in the 1960s by the surrounding Catholic community. A new church was recently built in 1993 and the original church foundation is now the St. Catherine gymnasium. Many of the original founders and their families are still present. New arriving families include Mexican families.
Brandywine Springs
Brandywine Springs is a historic area near Newport, Delaware, along the Red Clay Creek. It is noted from early American history as a Revolutionary War encampment of General George Washington's army. In 1853, Captain Alden Partridge opened the National National Literary, Scientific and Military College at Brandywine Springs. The school building was destroyed by fire shortly after opening and the school closed.
