Storrs, Connecticut
Storrs is a census-designated place (CDP) in the town of Mansfield within eastern Tolland County, Connecticut, United States. The population was 10,996 at the 2000 census. It is dominated economically and demographically by the presence of the main campus of the University of Connecticut and the associated Connecticut Repertory Theatre.
E. O. Smith High School
E. O. Smith High School, named after Edwin O. Smith, is a secondary school located in Storrs, Connecticut, United States. It serves the towns of Ashford, Mansfield, and Willington, which together make up Connecticut's Regional School District #19. E.O. Smith also serves students from nearby Columbia. Students from surrounding towns such as Coventry and Windham may also attend E.O.

Nipmuck Trail
The Nipmuck Trail is a Blue-Blazed hiking trail "system" which meanders through 34.5 miles of forests in northeast Connecticut. It is maintained by the Connecticut Forest and Park Association and is considered one of the Blue-Blazed hiking trails. There are two southern trail heads (two tines of a fork) in the south of the town of Mansfield, Connecticut. The southwestern terminus is on Puddin Lane, the southeastern is in Mansfield Hollow State Park off Bassetts Bridge Road.
