Groton Long Point
Groton Long Point (GLP) is a political subdivision of the town of Groton, on Long Island Sound in New London County, Connecticut, United States. The population was 667 at the 2000 census. Used mostly by families as a summer resort, life in Groton Long Point is very different depending on the season. The area is administered by the Groton Long Point Association (GLPA), which was established by an act of the Connecticut Legislature in 1921.

Noank is a village and census-designated place (CDP) in the town of Groton in New London County, Connecticut, United States. The population was 1,796 at the 2010 census. The original settlement in Noank along Elm Street and east of it towards Morgan Point is listed as a historic district on the National Register of Historic Places.
Mason's Island
Mason's Island; an inhabited island at the mouth of the Mystic River, in Stonington, Connecticut; part of the region of Mystic, Connecticut. The island was named after Major John Mason who was granted the island in recognition of his leadership of English troops and neighboring tribal nations in the brutal defeat of the Pequod nation at Mystic. Unlike Fishers Island, Mason's Island did not become part of New York. It remains under the political jurisdiction of the State of Connecticut.

Mumford Cove is a private association in Southeastern Connecticut located adjacent to Groton Long Point, bordered by Noank Connecticut's Haley's Farm nature preserve, Palmer's Cove, and Fisher's Island Sound. It is a part of the town of Groton, Connecticut. The neighborhood was first developed in the late 1960s, and a number of the original ranch, raised-ranch, and colonial homes remain.
Enders Island
Enders Island an inhabited island located in Stonington, Connecticut and used as a Catholic retreat center, owned and operated by the Society of Saint Edmund. The island is connected to neighboring Mason's Island by a causeway and Mason's island is connected to the mainland by another causeway.
