Solomon Goffe House
The Solomon Goffe House is located on North Colony Street in Meriden, Connecticut, United States. It was built in 1711, and is the oldest remaining building in the city of Meriden. http://www. sjs-meriden. org/goffe. htm It is a traditional gambrel style roof. One of the highlights of the landscaping is its traditional herb garden, which was designed after examples of typical 18th century herb gardens in the area.

Meriden (Amtrak station)
Meriden is a train station in Meriden, Connecticut located on the New Haven-Springfield Line served by Amtrak's Northeast Regional, New Haven – Springfield Shuttle, and the Vermonter. It is located at 60 State Street, and has a contemporary late-20th Century appearance. Currently only Amtrak trains use the station, but there are plans by the Connecticut Department of Transportation to add a new commuter service called the New Haven-Hartford-Springfield Commuter Rail Line.

Francis T. Maloney High School

The school's boys basketball team won the Class L CIAC championship against Lyman Hall of Wallingford on March 15, 2008. This was the first boys' basketball state title for Maloney. During the late 1980s the radio station was broadcasting Motivation Radio programs and featured announcer Greg LaPorta on the weekends during 1988-1990. The station has been assigned the WMMW call letters by the Federal Communications Commission since the station was initially licensed.
