WQAQ is a student run radio station broadcasting an Alternative format. Licensed to Hamden, Connecticut, USA, the station serves the Connecticut college area. The station is currently owned by Quinnipiac University. The organization is approved and funded by the Student Government Association and completely run by students, including an elected management staff. Mill River (Connecticut)

Not to be confused with the Mill River (Fairfield, Connecticut) or the Rippowam River in Stamford, Connecticut The Mill River is a river in the U.S. state of Connecticut. The river starts in the town of Cheshire, flows through Hamden and New Haven, and discharges into New Haven Harbor on Long Island Sound. The river's length is 17.4 miles . The river is dammed in southern Hamden to form Lake Whitney, which is operated as a reservoir by the South Central Connecticut Regional Water Authority.

Burt Kahn Court

Burt Kahn Court is a 2,000-seat multi-purpose arena in Hamden, Connecticut. It was the home of the Quinnipiac University Bobcats basketball team from 1969-2006. The Bobcats held a 254-184 record while playing at the facility. It is the current home of Bobcats volleyball. The facility was renovated in 2002, with new scoreboards and a new wood surface being added. The Court is named after Burt Kahn, a former basketball coach and athletic director at Quinnipiac.

TD Bank Sports Center

TD Bank Sports Center, known as the TD Banknorth Sports Center from its opening until it reflected a corporate name change in September 2009, is a multi-purpose arena in Hamden, Connecticut. Its design is unusual in that it consists of two separate playing and seating areas, one intended for basketball and one intended for ice hockey, joined together within a common facility. It seats 3,570 for basketball and 3,386 for hockey.

Quinnipiac Baseball Field

Quinnipiac Baseball Field is a baseball venue in Hamden, Connecticut, United States. It is home to the Quinnipiac Bobcats baseball team of the NCAA Division I Northeast Conference.
