Merritt 7 (Metro-North station)
The Merritt 7 Metro-North Railroad station serves the residents of the northern part of Norwalk, Connecticut via the Danbury Branch of the New Haven Line. Merritt 7 is named for a nearby business park based at the intersection of the Merritt Parkway and United States Route 7. The station is the only regular stop in the Metro-North system outside of the Waterbury Branch, the Pascack Valley Line, and the Port Jervis Line to have a low-level platform.
Silvermine, Connecticut
Silvermine is a neighborhood in Fairfield County, Connecticut extending into three southwestern Connecticut municipalities -- Norwalk, New Canaan and Wilton. The name "Silvermine" comes from old legends of a silver mine in the area, although no silver has ever been found. Silvermine was long an art colony and remains the home of the Silvermine Guild Arts Center. The Silvermine Tavern, an inn occupying several historic buildings, also remains in the neighborhood.

Richard C. Briggs High School
Richard C. Briggs High School is a secondary school located in Norwalk, Connecticut, USA. It opened in 1938 as a replacement for the Winnipauk School. Later it was turned into the secondary level Center for Vocational Arts but is now named after Dr. Richard C. Briggs, who was superintendent of Norwalk schools from 1971 to 1980. Connecticut Friends School
Connecticut Friends School is a K-8 elementary and middle school located in Wilton, Connecticut run by the Religious Society of Friends. Founded in 1998, the school's enrollment consists of approximately 60 students. The school purchased the 18.4-acre White Barn Theatre property on the border of Westport and Norwalk. The school plans to "turn the theater into a school performance center and preserve much of the land as open space" and to occupy the property by the fall of 2010.
Silver Hill Hospital
Silver Hill Hospital is an independent, not-for-profit psychiatric hospital - and one of the few such designated facilities in the country. Known for its individualized custom approach to treatment, Silver Hill was established in 1931. Comprehensive psychiatric and addiction treatment services are provided in a group-based approach: psychiatrists work closely with specialized nurses, social workers and other caregivers. Its staff is trained to care for each patient and support for the family.
Silvermine River
The Silvermine River is an 8.4-mile-long river in Norwalk and New Canaan, Connecticut. It is spanned by the 1899 Perry Avenue Bridge in the Silvermine neighborhood, and by the Silvermine River Bridge that carries the Merritt Parkway. It is a tributary of the Norwalk River which it joins at the north end of Deering Pond.
South Wilton (NH RR station)
South Wilton was a station on the Danbury Branch of the New York, New Haven and Hartford Railroad, located at the Norwalk-Wilton line, north of a grade crossing with Kent Road. The station opened as Kent, on the Danbury and Norwalk Railroad, in 1852. When the Housatonic Railroad leased the D&N in 1886, the name was changed to South Wilton - perhaps to distinguish it from the station in the town of Kent. It was also known as Kent Road and Hopkins.
