Aspen, Colorado
Aspen is a town, city, and ski resort community in Pitkin County, Colorado, United States. It is the county seat of Pitkin County and is in a remote area of the Rocky Mountains' Sawatch Range, along the Roaring Fork River at an elevation just below 8,000 feet above sea level on the Western Slope, 11 miles west of the Continental Divide. As of the 2010 census, there were 6,658 permanent residents.
Aspen Mountain (Colorado)
Aspen Mountain is a mountain in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado in the United States. One of the foothills of the Elk Mountains, it is located just south of the town of Aspen, which is situated at the foot of the mountain at the southeast end of the valley of the Roaring Fork River in Pitkin County. The mountain is noted as the location of the Aspen Mountain ski area, one of four adjacent ski areas operated collectively as Aspen/Snowmass.

(DBA as Aspen Public Radio) in Aspen, Colorado (KAJX) and Carbondale, Colorado (KCJX). Located in Aspen, the non-commercial station is governed by a board of directors. Founded in 1979, the Aspen Art Museum (AAM) is a non-collecting contemporary art museum (kunsthalle) located in Aspen, Colorado. The AAM is currently located in a converted 9,000-square-foot former, hydroelectric plant at 590 North Mill Street, near downtown Aspen. AAM exhibitions include drawings, paintings, sculptures, multimedia installations, and electronic media.

The Red Onion
The Red Onion is a restaurant located on East Cooper Avenue in Aspen, Colorado, United States. It is the oldest restaurant in the city, housed in a three-story red brick Italianate building dating to the late 19th century. In 1987 it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places as "New Brick–The Brick Saloon", along with other historic properties in the city. It began as a saloon opened by an early city alderman; at one point its upper floors were reportedly home to a brothel.
Aspen Community Church
Aspen Community Church is located at the intersection of East Bleeker and North Aspen streets in Aspen, Colorado, United States. It is a stone building erected in the late 19th century. In 1975 it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the only house of worship in Pitkin County to be accorded that distinction. When built, it was originally the home of a Presbyterian congregation.
Sheely Bridge
The Sheely Bridge carries pedestrian traffic across the Roaring Fork River in Mill Street Park in Aspen, Colorado, United States. It is a short steel truss bridge originally located downstream in Carbondale and later moved to its present location. It takes its current name from designer and builder Charles Sheely. When built as a highway bridge in the early 20th century it was one of the first in the state to use rivets. It served its original purpose until the 1960s.
Ute Cemetery
Ute Cemetery, known as Evergreen Cemetery in the 19th century, is located on Ute Avenue in Aspen, Colorado, United States. It is a small, overgrown parcel with approximately 200 burials. In 2002 it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The cemetery was established early in Aspen's history, when a visiting prospector died upon arrival from Texas.
Aspen Center for Physics
The Aspen Center for Physics is an institute for research in Physics based in Aspen, Colorado. The Center organizes workshops and conferences to facilitate interactions among research physicists. The center was founded in 1962 by physicist and brewery owner George Stranahan together with University of Pennsylvania professor Michael Cohen and Robert W. Craig, the director of the Aspen Institute.
