University of Denver
The University of Denver (DU), founded in 1864, is the oldest private university in the Rocky Mountain Region of the United States. The University of Denver is a coeducational, four-year university in Denver, Colorado. DU currently enrolls approximately 5,000 undergraduate students and 6,000 graduate students. The 125-acre main campus is a designated arboretum and is located primarily in the University Neighborhood, about seven miles (11 km) south of downtown Denver.
University of Denver Arena
University of Denver Arena was a 5,200-seat multi-purpose arena in Denver, Colorado. It was home to the University of Denver Pioneers ice hockey team. It also hosted several Frozen Fours. It was razed in 1997 to make room for the $75 million Magness Arena, (part of the Ritchie Center for Sports and Wellness) which opened in 1999. The structure was originally a U.S. Navy drill hall in northern Idaho, built in the early 1940s at Farragut Naval Training Station at Lake Pend Oreille.
Magness Arena
Magness Arena is a multi-purpose collegiate sports arena in Denver, Colorado. It was built from 1997 to 1999 as part of the Daniel L. Ritchie Center, the sports complex at the University of Denver. It is home to the Denver Pioneers ice hockey and basketball teams. It replaces the former DU Arena which was razed in 1997 to make way for the Ritchie Center. Magness Arena opened September 1999, one month before the Pepsi Center. The arena was voted, "Best New Sports Venue" by Westword in 2000.
Chamberlin Observatory
Chamberlin Observatory is an astronomical observatory owned and operated by University of Denver. It is located in Denver, Colorado (USA) in Observatory Park. It is named for Humphrey B. Chamberlin, a Denver real estate magnate who pledged $50,000 in 1888 to build and equip the facility. The observatory building was designed by Robert S. Roeschlaub, with the astronomical aspects and functions designed by Professor Herbert Alonzo Howe after he visited many observatories in the east.

Colorado (RTD)
Colorado is a side platformed RTD light rail station in Denver, Colorado, United States. Operating as part of the E, F and H Lines, the station was opened on November 17, 2006, and is operated by the Regional Transportation District. The station is located next to the Colorado Center, a large movie theater and office building complex. Colorado features a public art sculpture entitled Big Boots, which was created by Ries Niemi and dedicated in 2006.

Denver Islamic Society
The Denver Islamic Society, Masjid Al-Noor, at 2124 South Birch Street in Denver, Colorado, is a community-run mosque. It serves primarily immigrants and young adults near the University of Denver. In 1991 Ziyad Khaleel, who later became known as an al-Qaeda member and procurement agent for Osama bin Laden, was Vice President of the Denver Islamic Society.
