Solano County is a county located in the U.S. state of California, about halfway between San Francisco and Sacramento. It is officially one of the nine San Francisco Bay Area counties, and one of four North Bay counties. The county's population was reported by the U.S. Census to be 413,344 in 2010. The county seat is Fairfield and the largest city is Vallejo.

Solano Town Center, formerly Solano Mall and Westfield Solano, is a shopping mall in Fairfield, California, United States and is owned by the CBL & Associates Properties. Its four anchor stores are JCPenney, Macy's, Sears and Best Buy. There is also an Edwards Cinemas multiplex located above the Best Buy anchor. Mervyn's was the mall's fifth anchor store until they went out of business in 2008. Forever 21 moved into the upper level of the former Mervyn's in 2011.
Travis Credit Union Park
Travis Credit Union Park was a stadium in Vacaville, California. It was primarily used for baseball and was the home field of the Solano Steelheads of the Western Baseball League and later the Solano Thunderbirds. The ballpark had a capacity of 2,800 people. In 2008, a deal was reached to tear down the ballpark and move it to Redding, California.

Liwaito (also Lewytos and Liguaytoy) is a former settlement of the Patwin branch of the Wintun tribe in Yolo County, California. The name means "waiving" in the Patwin language, and was also applied to Putah Creek. It lay at an elevation of 135 feet (41 m). Its location is quite near Winters, California.

The entire projected is budgeted at $40 million, including parking, bus facilities, and the construction of an overpass to carry Peabody Road over the railroad tracks.

The Los Putos name comes from the nearby Putah Creek (formerly Rio Los Putos). The grant encompassed present day Vacaville, all of Lagoon Valley and stretched into what is now, Yolo County almost to Davis.

Rancho Tolenas
Rancho Tolenas was a 13,316-acre Mexican land grant in present day Solano County and Napa County, California given in 1840 by Governor Juan B. Alvarado to José Francisco Armijo. The grant was north east of present day Fairfield and was bounded on the south by Rancho Suisun.
Rancho Rio de los Putos
Rancho Rio de los Putos was a 17,755-acre Mexican land grant in present day Solano County and Yolo County, California given in 1842 by Governor Juan B. Alvarado to William Wolfskill. The grant extended a long both banks of Putah Creek (formerly Rio Los Putos) and encompassed present day Winters. On current maps, the four leagues include 10,750 acres on the south side of Putah Creek in Solano County, and 7,005 acres on the north side of Putah Creek in Yolo County.
Lake Solano
Lake Solano is a reservoir on Putah Creek formed by Putah Diversion Dam, located 6 miles downstream from Monticello Dam on the border between Yolo County and Solano County in California. The lake is 1.5 miles long with a capacity of 750 acre-feet. It serves to divert water into the Putah South Canal to supply agricultural and urban users. The lake and the surrounding land is managed for recreation such as picnicking, camping, boating, swimming, fishing, bird watching and hiking.
