The San Lorenzo River drains a large watershed in Santa Cruz County, California. The headwaters originate in the Santa Cruz Mountains at an elevation of 2,500 feet, and the river flows 29.3 miles through the San Lorenzo Valley before emptying into the Pacific Ocean at Monterey Bay. The San Lorenzo River was once one of the most popular steelhead and coho salmon rivers on the Central Coast of California.
SS Palo Alto
SS Palo Alto was a concrete ship built as a tanker at the end of World War I. She was built by the San Francisco Shipbuilding Company at the U.S. Naval Shipyard in Oakland, California. She was launched on 29 May 1919, too late to see service in the war. Her sister ship was the SS Peralta. She was mothballed in Oakland until 1929, when she was bought by the Seacliff Amusement Corporation and towed to Seacliff State Beach in Aptos, California.
Mystery Spot
The Mystery Spot is a tourist attraction located near Santa Cruz, California. It was discovered in 1939 and opened in 1940. The operators of the small site (which is about 150 feet in diameter) claim that it is a place where the laws of physics and gravity do not apply and provide a number of demonstrations in support of these claims, where water seems to flow upwards, people seem to be standing in slanted positions etc.

The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is an oceanfront amusement park in Santa Cruz, California. Founded in 1907, it is California's oldest surviving amusement park and one of the few seaside parks on the West Coast of the United States.
KSCO
KSCO is a radio station broadcasting a News/Talk format located in Santa Cruz, California. It can be heard over much of Central California during the day. Since 1991, it has been owned by the Zwerling family. KOMY is a radio station broadcasting an Adult Standards/Big Band format. Licensed to La Selva Beach, California, USA, the station serves the Monterey Bay Area. KOMY was originally licensed to nearby Watsonville for many years. Damage occurred to KOMY's original transmitter site as a result of the October 17, 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake, and subsequently, new owners moved the facilities to the Santa Cruz area.
Giant Dipper
The Giant Dipper is a historic wooden roller coaster located at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, an amusement park in Santa Cruz, California. It took 47 days to build at a cost of $50,000. It opened on May 17, 1924 and replaced the Thompson's Scenic Railway. With a height of 70 feet and a speed of 55 miles per hour, it is one of the most popular wooden roller coasters in the world. As of 2012, over 60 million people have ridden the Giant Dipper since its opening.
Santa Cruz Wharf
The Santa Cruz Wharf is a wharf in Santa Cruz, California, USA, known for fishing, boat tours, viewing sea lions, dining, and gift shops. The current wharf was built in 1914, the last of six built on the site, and is operated by the City of Santa Cruz Parks and Recreation Office. With a length of 2,745 feet, it is the longest pier on the West Coast of the United States. A fish market on the wharf is featured in scenes from the film Sudden Impact.
Capitola Mall
Capitola Mall is a shopping mall located in Capitola, California. It is managed and owned by Macerich. The mall sits on the northern edge of the Monterey Bay in Santa Cruz County. Capitola Mall is located on 41st Avenue just off Highway 1 at Capitola Road in Capitola. Capitola Mall opened in 1977, and was renovated and expanded in 1988/89. It is the only enclosed regional shopping center in Santa Cruz County.
Branciforte Creek
Branciforte Creek is a 5.8-mile long watercourse in Santa Cruz County, California, USA. Branciforte Creek rises on the western slopes of the Santa Cruz Mountains and discharges to the San Lorenzo River, which in turn empties into the Pacific Ocean. Within the State of California Branciforte Creek is classified within the Central Coast Basin. As of the year 2002, the State of California has designated Branciforte Creek as impaired with respect to turbidity and pathogens.

Fine Art Enterprises
Fine Art Enterprises is an American company that runs Fine Art Gallery in Soquel, California, the largest such gallery in the Monterey Bay area. The gallery was established in Maui, Hawaii, in 1984, and later moved to 3100 Porter Street within walking distance of Soquel's downtown. Outside stands a sculpture of a large red horse created by kinetic sculpture artist Fred Prescott.

Rancho Soquel
Rancho Soquel (also called Rancho Shoquel) was a 1,668-acre Mexican land grant in present day Santa Cruz County, California given in 1833 by Governor José Figueroa to Martina Castro. In 1844, Martina Castro was granted by Governor José Figueroa a further 32,702-acre grant known as the Soquel Augmentation. The grant along Monterey Bay includes present day Soquel and Capitola. Rancho Aptos of her brother Rafael Castro formed the south boundary of the grant.
Twin Lakes State Beach
Twin Lakes State Beach is a beach located in Santa Cruz County, California. This mile-long shoreline is a popular place for swimming and picnicking, along with birdwatching in the adjacent Schwan's Lake. This beach is located in downtown Santa Cruz, with the small craft harbor parallel to East Cliff and Portola Drives.

Rancho Arroyo del Rodeo
Rancho Arroyo del Rodeo was a 1,473-acre Mexican land grant in present day Santa Cruz County, California given in 1834 by Governor José Figueroa to Francisco Rodríguez. The grant extended from the Pacific Ocean between Rodeo Creek Gulch on the west and Soquel Creek on the east, encompassing most of the present-day unincorporated communities of Live Oak and Soquel.
Undertow (roller coaster)
Undertow is a steel spinning roller coaster, built by Maurer Söhne, set to open at Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk in summer 2013. It will be the only Spinning roller coaster in Northern California.
