Deckers Outdoor Corporation is a footwear manufacturer based in Goleta, California, United States, founded in 1973 by Doug Otto, a University of California, Santa Barbara student. In 1975 the company was incorporated in California under the name Deckers Corporation. Goleta Slough
The Goleta Slough is an area of estuary, tidal creeks, tidal marsh, and wetlands near Goleta, California, USA. It primarily consists of the filled and unfilled remnants of the historic inner Goleta Bay about 8 miles (13 km) west of Santa Barbara. The slough empties into the Pacific Ocean through an intermittently closed mouth at Goleta Beach County Park just east of the UCSB campus and Isla Vista.
Goleta Beach
Goleta Beach is a region of coastline located near Goleta, California, just east of the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB) campus. A portion of the shore of Goleta Bay is managed by the County of Santa Barbara as Goleta Beach County Park —GBCP. The beach itself is partly man-made as sand was spread onto an existing sandspit in 1945. The beach is a seasonal habitat for migrating shorebirds including the snowy plover, an endangered species.
Goleta (Amtrak station)
The Goleta Amtrak Station is an Amtrak rail station in the city of Goleta, California. It is served by Amtrak's Pacific Surfliner from San Luis Obispo to San Diego. Ten Pacific Surfliner trains serve the station daily. Six of the daily trains run on Goleta-San Diego or San Diego-Goleta schedules, either originating or terminating in Goleta. Four of the daily trains are through trains. Trains that terminate in Goleta are stored on a storage track adjacent to the Goleta station.
KZER
KZER (1250 AM, "Radio Lazer") is a commercial radio station located in Santa Barbara, California. The station airs a regional Mexican music format. KZER was formerly was known as KTMS then KEYT, broadcasting as an all-news radio station. It aired news reports from the Associated Press and simulcasted newscasts from KEYT-TV. Facing financial trouble, Smith Broadcasting sold the station in 2003 to Lazer Broadcasting, and flipped to a Regional Mexican format.

Rancho La Goleta
Rancho La Goleta was a 4,426-acre Mexican land grant in present day Santa Barbara County, California given in 1846 by Governor Pío Pico to Daniel A. Hill. The grant extended along the Pacific coast from today’s Fairview Avenue in present day Goleta, east to Hope Ranch. The grant was adjacent to Rancho Dos Pueblos granted to his son-in-law Nicolas A. Den in 1842.
