Harder Stadium

Harder Stadium (a.k.a. Soccer Heaven) is a 17,000 seat, outdoor multi-purpose stadium on the campus of the University of California, Santa Barbara in Santa Barbara, California. It serves as the on-campus soccer stadium for both the men's and women's programs. It is also currently used occasionally by the university's club rugby and lacrosse teams and previously served as the home for the football team.

Del Playa Drive

Del Playa Drive (also known as D.P. ) is a street in Isla Vista, California that overlooks the ocean. The street stretches four blocks over the full length of the unincorporated city (about one mile). It begins at the bike path bordering the campus and continues to Camino Majorca, where it ends at the entrance to the trails to Sands, a popular surf spot. Del Playa Drive features many large parties and is the heart of University of California Santa Barbara off-campus social life.

South Coast Railroad Museum

The South Coast Railroad Museum is located in the city of Goleta, California, a suburb of Santa Barbara. The museum was founded in 1983 as a showpiece for Goleta Depot, a Southern Pacific Railroad train station building, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and the California Registry of Historical Resources. KVRY-LP

KVRY-LP (96.3 FM) is a low-powered FM radio station serving Goleta and nearby Santa Barbara. It is one of the few radio stations that managed to obtain a low-power broadcast license during the FCC's LPFM "window" for applications. After obtaining the license, KVRY was granted a construction permit on February 10, 2003, and began broadcasting on February 7, 2006. KVRY airs religious programming with an emphasis on Bible teaching and Christian music.

Isla Vista massacre

The Isla Vista Massacre was an intentional vehicular assault which occurred in the student community of Isla Vista, California near the University of California, Santa Barbara campus. On the evening of February 23, 2001, just after 11pm UCSB student David Attias drove his 1991 Saab down the 6500 block of Sabado Tarde Road at high speed into nine parked cars and five pedestrians, killing four and critically injuring a fifth.
