Haight-Ashbury
Haight-Ashbury is a district of San Francisco, California, named for the intersection of Haight and Ashbury streets. It is also called The Haight and The Upper Haight.
Painted ladies
"Painted ladies" is a term used for Victorian and Edwardian houses and buildings painted in three or more colors that embellish or enhance their architectural details. The term was first used for San Francisco Victorian houses by writers Elizabeth Pomada and Michael Larsen in their 1978 book Painted Ladies - San Francisco's Resplendent Victorians.

The Sunset Tunnel is a 4,232 ft -long light rail/streetcar tunnel in San Francisco, California. The tunnel runs under the steep hill that Buena Vista Park is located on and is used by the N Judah Muni Metro line. The tunnel opened on 21 October 1928 in a ceremony presided over by Mayor James Rolph.
Panhandle (San Francisco)
The Panhandle is a park in San Francisco, California that forms a panhandle with Golden Gate Park. It is long and narrow, being three-quarters of a mile long and one block wide. Fell Street borders it to the north, Oak Street to the south, and Baker Street to the east. Only two streets run through it, Stanyan Street at the western end between it and Golden Gate Park, and Masonic Avenue through the middle.
Haight Street
Haight Street, in San Francisco, is perhaps best known as the principal street in San Francisco's Haight-Ashbury district, also known as Upper Haight. It stretches from Market Street to Stanyan Street, at Golden Gate Park. It is named after California pioneer and exchange banker Henry Haight (1820–1869).
Duboce Park
Duboce Park is a small urban park located between the Duboce Triangle and Lower Haight neighborhoods of San Francisco, California. The park is less than one block wide from north to south, and two blocks wide from west to east. Its western boundary is Scott Street and its eastern boundary is Steiner Street. The N Judah Muni Metro streetcar line runs along Duboce Avenue, which forms the southern boundary of the park.

The Red Victorian
The Red Victorian is a historic hotel located in San Francisco's Haight-Ashbury district, two blocks from Golden Gate Park and well served by public transit. The hotel was constructed in 1904 as the Jefferson Hotel. In 1967, during the Summer of Love, it was called the Jeffrey-Haight. In 1977, Dr. Sami Sunchild, environmental artist and social activist, acquired the building, painted the Victorian facade red plus nine other trim colors, and named it the "Red Victorian".

I-Beam (nightclub)
The I-Beam was a popular nightclub in San Francisco that was located in the Haight-Ashbury neighborhood at 1748 Haight Street. Before opening the club, Sanford Kellman had an impromptu party there and found that all the neighbors complained about the noise. Therefore, Sanford Kellman was required by the City government of San Francisco to soundproof the entire building at great expense, delaying the opening of the club for several months.
The Wiggle
The Wiggle is a one-mile, zig-zagging bicycle route from Market Street to Golden Gate Park in San Francisco, California, that minimizes hilly inclines for bicycle riders. Rising 120 feet, The Wiggle inclines average 3% and never exceed 6%. The path generally follows the historical route of the long since paved-over Sans Souci Valley watercourse, winding through the Lower Haight neighborhood toward the Panhandle section of Golden Gate Park.

Duboce and Noe Street
Duboce and Noe is a station on the San Francisco Municipal Railway light rail network's N Judah line. It is located in the Duboce Triangle neighborhood. It is the first stop east of the Sunset Tunnel under Buena Vista Park and is adjacent to Duboce Park.
Rancho San Miguel (Noe)
Rancho San Miguel was a 4,443-acre Mexican land grant in present day San Francisco County, California given in 1845 by Governor Pío Pico to José de Jesús Noé. The grant included what is now known as Eureka Valley and extended past Mount Davidson almost to present day Daly City. The grant encompassed the present-day San Francisco neighborhoods of Noe Valley, the Castro, Glen Park, Diamond Heights, and St. Francis Wood.

Santa Maria de Ovila
Santa María de Óvila is a former Cistercian monastery built in Spain beginning in 1181 on the Tagus River near Trillo, Guadalajara, about 90 miles northeast of Madrid. During prosperous times over the next four centuries, construction projects expanded and improved the small monastery. Its fortunes declined significantly in the 1700s, and in 1835 it was confiscated by the Spanish government and sold to private owners who used its buildings to shelter farm animals.
