California Academy of Sciences
The California Academy of Sciences is among the largest museums of natural history in the world. The academy began in 1853 as a learned society and still carries out a large amount of original research, with exhibits and education becoming significant endeavors of the museum during the 20th century. Completely rebuilt in 2008, the building totals 400,000 square feet and is among the newest natural history museums in the United States.
San Francisco Botanical Garden
The San Francisco Botanical Garden (formerly Strybing Arboretum) is located in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park. Its 55 acres (22.3 ha) include over 50,000 individual plants, representing over 8,000 taxa from around the world, with particular focus on Magnolia species, high elevation palms, and cloud forest species from Central America, South America and Southeast Asia. San Francisco's County Fair Building is located at the entrance to the garden.

The Conservatory of Flowers is a greenhouse and botanical garden that houses a collection of rare and exotic plants in Golden Gate Park, San Francisco, California. With construction completed in 1878, it remains the oldest building in the park, and the oldest municipal wooden conservatory remaining in the United States. It is also one of the first municipal conservatories constructed in the country.

Lloyd Lake (San Francisco)

Camp Merritt, California
Camp Merritt, California was a U.S. military camp for American troops destined for the Philippines during the Spanish-American War. Formerly a racetrack, the camp, named for General Wesley Merritt commanding officer of the Philippine expeditionary forces and the Eighth Corps at the time, was located between Point Lobos Avenue (Geary) and Fulton Street between First (Arguello) and Sixth in San Francisco, California.
Mountain Lake Park
Mountain Lake Park is a San Francisco park in the Richmond District neighborhood, located north of the intersection of Lake and Funston. It was designed by engineer William Hammond Hall in the late 19th century, circa 1875. Hall also designed Golden Gate Park and was significantly influenced by Frederick Law Olmsted. Mountain Lake is a small body of water east of State Route 1 (Park Presidio Boulevard). On the south side of the lake is a playground and tennis court.
Strawberry Hill (San Francisco)
Strawberry Hill is a hill in San Francisco, California, near the center of Golden Gate Park. The hill occupies an entire island in the park's man-made Stow Lake, and is connected by two bridges to the mainland of the park. The island is covered with a variety of trees and shrubbery and contains several trails and dirt steps that encircle and lead to the top of the hill. The island also contains a waterfall that leads into the lake. A Chinese peace pagoda stands near the shore of the Lake.

19th Avenue (San Francisco)
19th Avenue in San Francisco, California, is a five-mile (8 km) long, six-lane arterial thoroughfare that bisects the southwestern part of the city. It begins at the southern edge of Golden Gate Park in the Sunset District as the continuation of Crossover Drive, which cuts through the park north-south. After running through the Sunset District to Sloat Boulevard, it continues south, passing Stonestown Galleria and San Francisco State University and reaches Junipero Serra Boulevard.
Outside Lands
Outside Lands was the name used in the 19th century for the present-day Richmond District and Sunset District in San Francisco, California. With few roads and no public transportation, the area was covered by sand dunes and was considered inaccessible and uninhabitable. Today, after extensive development, the area is home to Golden Gate Park, Ocean Beach, and well-developed neighborhoods.
Public Health Service Hospital
The Public Health Service Hospital is a defunct hospital located in the Presidio of San Francisco which was established in 1895. The two non-historic wings were demolished in 2009. The historic 1932 building was rehabilitated for housing and opened in 2010 as the Presidio Landmark apartments. Between 1982 and 1988, this was also the location of the San Francisco branch of the Defense Language Institute.

Green Forest Art Studio is a visual arts education center offering children's art classes to the general public. It also hosts art-themed birthday parties. The studio has locations in Taipei, Taiwan and San Francisco, California, United States. The facility caters for children ages 2 to 15 and classes employ a variety of materials and art-making processes including Chinese painting, drawing, painting in watercolor, acrylic and oil, sketching, mixed media, clay, sculpture and print art.
Music Concourse
The Music Concourse is an open-air plaza within San Francisco's Golden Gate Park originally excavated for the California Midwinter International Exposition of 1894. After the fair, it underwent a significant redesign in order to be repurposed as a venue for public gatherings centered around music performances. The focal point of the plaza, Spreckels Temple of Music, also called the "Bandshell", was built in 1899 in advance of the Music Concourse's completion in 1900.
