Only two streets run through it, Stanyan Street at the western end between it and Golden Gate Park, and Masonic Avenue through the middle.

Alvord Lake Bridge
The Alvord Lake Bridge was the first reinforced concrete bridge built in America. It was built in 1889 by Ernest L. Ransome, an innovator in reinforced concrete design, mixing equipment, and construction systems. The bridge was constructed as a single arch 64 feet wide with a 20-foot span . Ransome is believed to have used his patented cold-twisted square steel bar for reinforcement, placed longitudinally in the arch and curved in the same arc.

Camp Merritt, California
Camp Merritt, California was a U.S. military camp for American troops destined for the Philippines during the Spanish-American War. Formerly a racetrack, the camp, named for General Wesley Merritt commanding officer of the Philippine expeditionary forces and the Eighth Corps at the time, was located between Point Lobos Avenue (Geary) and Fulton Street between First (Arguello) and Sixth in San Francisco, California.
I-Beam (nightclub)
The I-Beam was a popular nightclub in San Francisco that was located in the Haight-Ashbury neighborhood at 1748 Haight Street. Before opening the club, Sanford Kellman had an impromptu party there and found that all the neighbors complained about the noise. Therefore, Sanford Kellman was required by the City government of San Francisco to soundproof the entire building at great expense, delaying the opening of the club for several months.
Mountain Lake Park
Mountain Lake Park is a San Francisco park in the Richmond District neighborhood, located north of the intersection of Lake and Funston. It was designed by engineer William Hammond Hall in the late 19th century, circa 1875. Hall also designed Golden Gate Park and was significantly influenced by Frederick Law Olmsted. Mountain Lake is a small body of water east of State Route 1 (Park Presidio Boulevard). On the south side of the lake is a playground and tennis court.

Negoesco Stadium
Negoesco Stadium is a 3,000 seat soccer stadium located in San Francisco, California, on the campus of University of San Francisco. Named for legendary USF Soccer Coach Steve Negoesco. It is the home field for the men's and women's soccer teams. Negoesco is also the primary home field for the San Francisco Seals of the USL Premier Development League. Public Health Service Hospital
The Public Health Service Hospital is a defunct hospital located in the Presidio of San Francisco which was established in 1895. The two non-historic wings were demolished in 2009. The historic 1932 building was rehabilitated for housing and opened in 2010 as the Presidio Landmark apartments. Between 1982 and 1988, this was also the location of the San Francisco branch of the Defense Language Institute.
MacArthur Tunnel

It carries California State Route 1 under a large hill at the Presidio Golf Course, and connects Park Presidio Boulevard to US 101 on the Golden Gate Bridge Freeway (better known as Doyle Drive).

Santa Maria de Ovila
Santa María de Óvila is a former Cistercian monastery built in Spain beginning in 1181 on the Tagus River near Trillo, Guadalajara, about 90 miles northeast of Madrid. During prosperous times over the next four centuries, construction projects expanded and improved the small monastery. Its fortunes declined significantly in the 1700s, and in 1835 it was confiscated by the Spanish government and sold to private owners who used its buildings to shelter farm animals.

It is home to the San Francisco Dons baseball team of the NCAA Division I West Coast Conference. Built in 1953, the facility has a capacity of 2,000 spectators. The venue was originally called simply Max Ulrich Field. After its 1953 construction, it was named after Max Ulrich, a San Francisco resident who donated in his will $358,000 to the university.
