The interior features a vaulted ceiling while the facade was patterned after a 12th-century French cathedral. The Orpheum seats 2,203 guests.

International Map of the World
The International Map of the World was a project begun in 1913 to create a complete map of the world according to internationally agreed standards. Roads were depicted in red, towns and railways were depicted in black, and the labels were written in the Roman alphabet. The Central Bureau of the Map of the World was established at the Ordnance Survey in London. After the Second World War the UN took over the project, and interest waned. Only 800 to 1,000 of 2,500 planned maps were completed.
SFJAZZ Center
The SFJAZZ Center is a jazz music organization established in 1983, and a music venue in San Francisco, California which opened in January 2013. The building was designed by Mark Cavagnero Associates, and cost $64 million to complete. The performance space is the Robert N. Miner Auditorium, with a sound system by Meyer Sound Laboratories. The Center's interior art is by Mark Ulriksen. SFJAZZ has, since 1983, produced the San Francisco Jazz Festival, and since 2004, the SFJAZZ Collective.
