Lake Arrowhead is an unincorporated community and a census-designated place (CDP) in the San Bernardino Mountains of San Bernardino County, California, within the San Bernardino National Forest, surrounding the Lake Arrowhead Reservoir. The population of the CDP was 12,424 at the 2010 census, up from 8,934 at the 2000 census.

The lake and the surrounding area make up the Lake Gregory Regional Park adjacent to Crestline, California. The area, originally known as Houston Flat, was developed by and named for its developer, Redlands citrus grower Arthur Gregory, Sr. Gregory bought and developed land in an area known today as Valley of the Moon.
