Hollister is a city in and the county seat of San Benito County, California, United States. The population was 34,928 at the 2010 census. Hollister is primarily an agricultural town.
Ridgemark, California
Ridgemark is a census-designated place (CDP) located adjacent to the southeastern edge of Hollister in San Benito County, California, United States. The community is a private, gated golf development with two golf courses and just over 1,000 homes. Development of the community began in the early 1970s, and the population had reached 3,016 at the time of the 2010 United States Census.

Rancho Bolsa de San Felipe was a 6,795-acre Mexican land grant in present day San Benito County, California given in 1840 by Governor Juan B. Alvarado to Francisco Perez Pacheco. Bolsa means "pockets" and refers to pockets of land in the Tequisquina Slough. The grant was bounded on the north by Rancho Ausaymas y San Felipe and the south by Rancho San Justo, and encompassed Dunneville.

Rancho Llano de Tesquisquita was a 16,016-acre Mexican land grant in present day San Benito County and Santa Clara County, California given in 1835 by Governor José Castro to José María Sanchez. The name means "flats of Tesquisquita". The grant extended between the Pajaro River and Tesquisquita Slough, south of present day Gilroy.

Rancho Lomerias Muertas was a 6,660-acre Mexican land grant in present day San Benito County, California given in 1842 by Governor Juan B. Alvarado to José Antonio Castro. The name means "barren hills". The grant was between the Pajaro River and the San Benito River, south of present day Gilroy.
Rancho Cienega del Gabilan
Rancho Cienega del Gabilan was a 48,781-acre Mexican land grant in present day Monterey County and San Benito County, California given in 1843 by Governor Manuel Micheltorena to Antonio Chaves (Chávez). The name means "spring of the hawk ranch". The grant was located in the Gabilan Range east of present day Salinas.
Rancho San Joaquin (Cervantes)
Rancho San Joaquin (also called "Rosa Morada") was a 7,425-acre Mexican land grant in present day San Benito County, California given in 1836 by Governor Nicolás Gutiérrez to Cruz Cervantes. The grant was located north east of present day Hollister and was bounded on the north by Rancho Ausaymas y San Felipe, on the south by Rancho Santa Ana y Quien Sabe, on the west by Santa Ana Creek, and on the east by the hills.
Hollister Naval Air Station
Hollister Naval Auxiliary Air Station is a former United States Navy air station. Unlike many military airfields, Hollister NAAS was a civilian field before being purchased by the U.S. Navy in early 1942. The first flight on the site took place in 1912 in what was then a pasture. Over time civilian flying activities at the site increased. In the 1920s the airfield was purchased by a cropduster and renamed Turner Field.
KSBW-DT2
KSBW-DT2, branded as Central Coast ABC, is the second digital subchannel of NBC affiliate KSBW, which is owned by Hearst Television. The second digital subchannel is the ABC affiliate for the Salinas–Monterey–Santa Cruz, California market, which began transmission on April 18, 2011. The channel previously used its channel for NBC Weather Plus, along with additional local newscasts. The subchannel was also used for an alternate set of prime time programming.
San Justo Dam
San Justo Dam is a dam and reservoir in San Benito County, California, about three miles southwest of Hollister. The dam provides offstream water storage for the federal Central Valley Project of the United States Bureau of Reclamation. Completed in January 1986, the dam is an earthfill structure 151 feet high. Along with a companion dike structure 79 feet high, it forms a reservoir with a capacity of about 9,785 acre-feet.
