Boronda is a census-designated place (CDP) in Monterey County, California, United States. The population was 1,710 at the 2010 census, up from 1,325 at the 2000 census.
Northridge Mall
Northridge Mall, located in Salinas, California, serves as Monterey County's largest shopping mall. It has been owned and operated by The Macerich Company since 2003. The single-story structure encompasses 976,913 sq ft of retail space and features more than 110 shops, two restaurants, a fast-food court with eight outlets, and four department stores including Sears, JCPenney, Macy's, and Forever 21. There are approximately 3,000 spaces in the open-air parking lot.
Salinas Sports Complex
The Salinas Sports Complex is a sporting complex located in Salinas, California on the Central Coast. The main feature of the complex is a 17,000-seat stadium suitable for rodeo, soccer, American football, and rugby. This stadium is where the Palma Chieftains and North Salinas Vikings play their home football games. The grounds have been home to the California Rodeo Salinas since 1911. The original wood stadium structure was built in 1924 and replaced in 1996.

Rancho Sausal was a 10,242-acre Mexican land grant in the Salinas Valley, in present day Monterey County, California given in 1834 by Governor José Figueroa to José Tibúrcio Castro. An additional grant was made by Governor Pío Pico in 1845. The name is Spanish for "willow grove". The grant encompassed present day Salinas.

Rancho Los Gatos or Santa Rita was a 4,424-acre Mexican land grant in present day Monterey County, California given in 1837 by Governor Juan B. Alvarado to José Trinidad Espinoza. The grant was northwest of present day Salinas, bounded on the north by Espinosa Lake and Rancho Bolsa de las Escorpinas of his brother Salvador Espinoza, and encompassed present day Santa Rita.
