Belvedere is an affluent city in Marin County, California, United States. Belvedere is located 1.5 miles northeast of Sausalito, at an elevation of 36 feet (11 m). At the 2010 census, the population was 2,068 and the per-capita income in 2000 was $113,595, making it one of the highest income cities in California and the 17th highest income place in the United States (1st with a population over 1,000).

Sausalito is a San Francisco Bay Area city, in Marin County, California, United States. Sausalito is 8 miles south-southeast of San Rafael, at an elevation of 13 feet (4 m). The population was 7,061 as of the 2010 census. The community is situated near the northern end of the Golden Gate Bridge, and prior to the building of that bridge served as a terminus for rail, car and ferry traffic.

Tiburon, California
Tiburon is an incorporated town in Marin County, California. It occupies most of the Tiburon Peninsula, which reaches south into the San Francisco Bay. The smaller city of Belvedere (formerly a separate island) occupies the south-east part of the peninsula and is contiguous with Tiburon. Tiburon is bordered by Corte Madera to the north and Mill Valley to the west, but is otherwise surrounded by the Bay. The population was 8,962 at the 2010 census.
San Quentin State Prison
San Quentin State Prison is a California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation state prison for men located in unincorporated San Quentin, Marin County, California, United States. Opened in July 1852, it is the oldest prison in the state. California's only death row for male inmates, the largest in the United States, is located at the prison. It has a gas chamber, but since 1996, executions at the prison have been carried out by lethal injection.
Richardson Bay
Richardson's Bay is a shallow, ecologically rich arm of San Francisco Bay, managed under a Joint Powers Agency of four Northern California cities. The 911-acre Richardson's Bay Sanctuary was acquired in the early 1960s by the National Audubon Society. The bay was named for William A. Richardson, early 19th century sea captain and builder in San Francisco.

Strawberry Lagoon is an inlet within Richardson Bay, Marin County, California, USA. This location, particularly on Strawberry Spit, is a winter haul-out area for the Harbor Seal. Pressures of urban development at Strawberry Point along with increases in small boat traffic have diminished the use of this lagoon for seal haul out, noted as early as 1990.

Belvedere Lagoon
Belvedere Lagoon is an artificial lagoon in the Marin County, California community of Belvedere on San Francisco Bay. Narrow strips of land separate it from Richardson Bay (to the northwest) and Raccoon Strait. Rising above the lagoon on higher ground is Ring Mountain on the Tiburon Peninsula. This area of Ring Mountain is notable for its archaeological resources of extant Native American petroglyphs as well as a great biodiversity of California native plants.

Archaeological Pecked curvilinear nucleated petroglyphs, and recovery on Ring Mountain, hold significant evidence of Native American habitation and likely proof that early Miwok peoples exploited marine resources from Triangle Marsh.
Old Saint Hilary’s Church
Old St. Hilary's Landmark is a former mission church place of worship and now a historic landmark owned and maintained by the Belvedere-Tiburon Landmarks Society, Tiburon Peninsula, Marin County, California, USA. The landmark is situated on the flank of the Tiburon Hills, an area characterized by serpentine soils and hence has a distinct plant community. The area surrounding the church is a Marin County protected area, the Old Saint Hilary's Open Space Preserve.
U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Bay Model
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Bay Model is a working hydraulic scale model of the San Francisco Bay and Sacramento-San Joaquin River Delta System. While the Bay Model is still operational, it is no longer used for scientific research, and is instead open to the public alongside educational exhibits about Bay hydrology. The model is located in the Bay Model Visitor Center at 2100 Bridgeway Blvd. in Sausalito, California.
