The 2 AM Club is a popular bar in Mill Valley, California. It is known as being the location of the cover photo of the Huey Lewis and the News' album Sports. It discharges to the west side of Richardson Bay, an arm of the San Francisco Bay. The estuary contains mudflats used by various avafauna. Schoonmaker Point
Schoonmaker Point is a low lying landform jutting into San Francisco Bay at Sausalito, California. This area was created by dredge spoils from Richardson Bay during local Marin Shipyards shipbuilding activity during World War II. Schoonmaker Point is situated approximately 1.7 miles south of the Sausalito/Marin City interchange of U.S. Highway 101 immediately north of Bridgeway Boulevard.
Strawberry Lagoon
Strawberry Lagoon is an inlet within Richardson Bay, Marin County, California, USA. This location, particularly on Strawberry Spit, is a winter haul-out area for the Harbor Seal. Pressures of urban development at Strawberry Point along with increases in small boat traffic have diminished the use of this lagoon for seal haul out, noted as early as 1990.

Belvedere Lagoon
Belvedere Lagoon is an artificial lagoon in the Marin County, California community of Belvedere on San Francisco Bay. Narrow strips of land separate it from Richardson Bay (to the northwest) and Raccoon Strait. Rising above the lagoon on higher ground is Ring Mountain on the Tiburon Peninsula. This area of Ring Mountain is notable for its archaeological resources of extant Native American petroglyphs as well as a great biodiversity of California native plants.
Clipper Yacht Harbor
Clipper Yacht Harbor is a recreational marina located in the city of Sausalito, California, U.S.A. three miles away from the Golden Gate Bridge. Since 1947, it has been harboring boats up to 60’ feet in length. Clipper Yacht Harbor is the largest harbor in Sausalito, it features 800 slips and dry storage spaces. Clipper Yacht Harbor is the only full service harbor in Sausalito, which can accommodate all boating needs. Clipper Yacht Harbor is a home of Sausalito’s sport fishing fleet.
Triangle Marsh
Triangle Marsh is a wetland of the San Francisco Bay situated at the base of Ring Mountain at the north end of the Tiburon Peninsula in Marin County, California, USA. Archaeological Pecked curvilinear nucleated petroglyphs, and recovery on Ring Mountain, hold significant evidence of Native American habitation and likely proof that early Miwok peoples exploited marine resources from Triangle Marsh.
Rancho Corte Madera del Presidio
Rancho Corte Madera del Presidio was a 7,845-acre Mexican land grant in present day Marin County, California given in 1834 by Governor José Figueroa to John (Juan) Reed. Corte Madera del Presidio means the "lumber mill of the Presidio". The grant encompassed what is now southern Corte Madera, Mill Valley, the Tiburon Peninsula, and Strawberry Point. It reached from Point Tiburon to Larkspur Creek, then known as Arroyo Holon.
U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Bay Model
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Bay Model is a working hydraulic scale model of the San Francisco Bay and Sacramento-San Joaquin River Delta System. While the Bay Model is still operational, it is no longer used for scientific research, and is instead open to the public alongside educational exhibits about Bay hydrology. The model is located in the Bay Model Visitor Center at 2100 Bridgeway Blvd. in Sausalito, California.
Marin Municipal Water District
The Marin Municipal Water District (or MMWD) is the government agency that provides drinking water to southern and central Marin County, California. Chartered in 1912, it became California's first municipal water district. It serves 195,000 people in a 147-square-mile area that includes ten towns and cities.
