Kentfield, California
Kentfield (formerly Ross Landing, Tamalpais, and Kent) is a census-designated place (CDP) in Marin County, California, United States, just north of San Francisco. Kentfield is located on the Northwestern Pacific Railroad 2 miles southwest of downtown San Rafael, at an elevation of 115 feet (35 m). The population was 6,485 at the 2010 census. The ZIP code is 94904, and is shared with the neighboring community of Greenbrae.

The College of Marin is a community college in Marin County, California, U.S. , with two campuses, one in Kentfield, and the second in Novato. It is the only institution operated by the Marin Community College District. The Barn Theatre is the home of the Ross Valley Players, the oldest continually-operating community theater group on the West Coast. Each season, running from September through August, includes six plays in full production, a Holiday Show in December and two Festivals.
The Branson School

Rancho Punta de Quentin
Rancho Punta de Quentin was a 8,877-acre Mexican land grant in present day Marin County, California given in 1840 by Governor Juan B. Alvarado to John B.R. Cooper. The grant comprised not only the San Quentin peninsula, but also present day Ross, Kentfield and part of San Anselmo.
