Edgewood Botanic Garden
The Edgewood Botanic Garden is a small botanical garden of less than 1 acre (0.4 ha) located at 436 Edgewood Avenue, on the southeastern side of Mount Tamalpais near the intersection of Edgewood with Cypress Avenue, in Mill Valley, California, USA. It is dedicated to the native plants of the region but is not actively maintained. In addition to the redwood trees that dominate the local landscape, it supports about ten species of trees, not all of which are native to the site.

Tamalpais High School (nicknamed Tam) is a public secondary school located in Mill Valley, California. It is named after nearby Mount Tamalpais, which rises more than 2,500 feet above Mill Valley. Tamalpais High School is the original campus of the Tamalpais Union High School District and the second public high school in Marin County.
2 AM Club
The 2 AM Club is a popular bar in Mill Valley, California. It is known as being the location of the cover photo of the Huey Lewis and the News' album Sports. Known locally as "The Deuce", it is a popular watering hole. Formerly known as "The Brown Jug", which was opened by Bill Brown there on the corner of Miller and Montford. Prohibition caused its closure in 1921. It reopened in 1933 with the same name, but became the 2 A.M. Club in about 1940.

Old Mill School (Mill Valley, California)
Old Mill School is one of 5 public elementary schools in Mill Valley, California, along with Park, Tamalpais Valley, Edna Maguire, and Strawberry Point Schools. The main building, built in 1921, is the oldest existing public elementary school building in Mill Valley. At the beginning of the 2006 school year, there were 290 students at Old Mill in kindergarten through 5th grades, and 14 grade-level teachers assisted by subject-specific teachers and teacher's aides.

It discharges to the west side of Richardson Bay, an arm of the San Francisco Bay. The estuary contains mudflats used by various avafauna.
