Kentfield, California
Kentfield (formerly Ross Landing, Tamalpais, and Kent) is a census-designated place (CDP) in Marin County, California, United States, just north of San Francisco. Kentfield is located on the Northwestern Pacific Railroad 2 miles southwest of downtown San Rafael, at an elevation of 115 feet (35 m). The population was 6,485 at the 2010 census. The ZIP code is 94904, and is shared with the neighboring community of Greenbrae.

Adeline E. Kent Middle School in Kentfield, California is a middle school serving grades 5-8. As of 2003, it enrolled 509 students. The school consists of 38 classrooms, as well as a multipurpose room, a gym, and a library. As of 2003, there were 32 teachers.
College of Marin
The College of Marin is a community college in Marin County, California, U.S. , with two campuses, one in Kentfield, and the second in Novato. It is the only institution operated by the Marin Community College District. Rancho Punta de Quentin
