California Institute of the Arts

The California Institute of the Arts, colloquially called CalArts, is a university located in Valencia, in Los Angeles County, California. Soledad Canyon

Soledad Canyon is a long narrow canyon / valley located in Los Angeles County, California between the cities of Palmdale and Santa Clarita. Soledad Canyon contains the localities of Vincent, Acton, Ravenna, Russ, and Agua Dulce. It is traversed by the Antelope Valley Freeway and the Metrolink Antelope Valley Line . Travelers on board the Metrolink are afforded a view of much of the Santa Clara River through Soledad Canyon, which drains the canyon.

Westfield Valencia Town Center

Westfield Valencia Town Center, formerly Valencia Town Center, is a shopping mall in the Santa Clarita, California community of Valencia, owned by Westfield Group. Its anchor stores are JCPenney, Macy's, and Sears. The Robinsons-May was renamed Macy's on September 9, 2006. The Westfield Group acquired a quarter-interest in the property 2002, and acquired a further quarter-interest in 2005, assuming management control. They renamed it "Westfield Valencia Town Center".

Santa Clarita (Metrolink station)

Santa Clarita is a Metrolink rail station in the city of Santa Clarita, California. It is served by Metrolink's Antelope Valley Line from Los Angeles Union Station to Lancaster. 24 Metrolink trains serve the station each weekday and 8 serve the station on Saturdays. Sunday service began in September 2007. Weekday Metrolink service runs primarily at peak hours in the peak direction of travel while weekend departures and arrivals are fairly evenly spaced throughout the day.

Saugus Speedway

Saugus Speedway is a 1/3 mile racetrack in Saugus, California on a 35-acre site. The track hosted one NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series event in 1995, which was won by Ken Schrader. Schrader became the first NASCAR driver to win in a race in all three of the sanctioning body's major series, for he had previously won in the Sprint Cup and Nationwide Series.
