Los Angeles Police Department
The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) is the police department of the city of Los Angeles, California. With 10,023 officers and 2,879 civilian staff, covering an area of 498 square miles with a population of 3,792,621 million people as of the 2010 Census, it is the third largest local law enforcement agency in the United States, after the New York City Police Department and the Chicago Police Department.
Hall of Justice
A Hall of Justice is an occasional term for a city's police headquarters, and exists in cities across the United States. In some cases, the facility may also house courts as well as jails. In some US cities, the Hall of Justice is called the Justice Center.
Parker Center
Parker Center was the headquarters for the Los Angeles Police Department from 1954 until October 2009 and is located in Downtown LA. The building was named for former LAPD chief William H. Parker. Originally called the Police Administration Building (PAB), groundbreaking for the center broken on December 30, 1952, and construction was completed in 1955. The architect was Welton Becket. The building combined police facilities that had been located throughout the Civic Center area.
Historic Core, Los Angeles
The Historic Core is a neighborhood in Downtown Los Angeles between Hill and Main streets on the west and east, and 3rd and 9th streets on the north and south. It overlaps with the Jewelry District on its western end and Skid Row on its eastern end. It was the center of the city before World War II.

Higgins Building
The Higgins Building is a proto-Modernist concrete framed building rendered in the Beaux-Arts style located in downtown Los Angeles, California. Completed in 1910 by owner Thomas Higgins, an Irish American, the 10-story building was originally used for office space. The Engineers and Architects were Albert C. Martin, Sr. and A.L. Haley. It has been designated as a historical monument by the City as Historic-Cultural Monument #873.

The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Los Angeles Downtown is located in Los Angeles, California, USA. Managed by RIM Hospitality Inc. , the hotel is located in the Little Tokyo area of downtown Los Angeles at at 120 South Los Angeles Street. Opened in 1977, it was the New Otani Hotel & Garden for thirty years until a change of ownership in 2007, when it became the Kyoto Grand Hotel and Gardens.

The Caltrans District 7 Headquarters building at 100 South Main Street in Downtown Los Angeles, California serves the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) and the Los Angeles Department of Transportation. Built on a $165,000,000 budget it opened on September 24 2004. Its futuristic and environmentally friendly design has won its designer Thom Mayne the 2005 Pritzker Prize.
L.A. Comedy Shorts Film Festival
The L.A. Comedy Shorts Film Festival (LACS) is an annual film festival held in the spring in Los Angeles, California. LACS programs short films exclusively in the comedy genre, and is the largest festival of its kind in the United States. During the four-day event, between 60-90 comedy short films from around the world are screened at the festival's main venue in Downtown Los Angeles, with additional industry panels and parties taking place at various locations around the city.
International Savings & Exchange Bank Building
The International Savings & Exchange Bank Building (also known as the International Savings Building), was built in the Spring Street Financial District of Los Angeles in 1907. Standing ten floors, it was designed in the Renaissance Revival and Italianate styles by architect H. Alban Reaves (some sources spell Reeves), who had previously designed several structures in New York, including what is now the south building of the historic Schuyler Arms.
Shalimar Radio
Shalimar Radio is a Pakistani Radio that operated through purchased Air Time from Channel 900 AM, from KALI (AM) in West Covina, California. This radio station was founded by a Pakistani American citizen group in Los Angeles, United States in 2008. The radio's founders were Arsal Awan and Khalid Imran. The radio station primarily advocates freedom of speech promoting liberal islamic movements of modern times.
