Burbank High School is a public high school located in Burbank, California, USA. It opened on September 14, 1908, and its inaugural class had 334 students. The area had previously been served by the Glendale Union High School District. Burbank High began an extensive facility update in 2003, and its first phase of reconstruction was a building housing new classrooms for the entire school.
Battle of Providencia
Battle of Providencia (also called the Second Battle of Cahuenga Pass) took place in 1845 on Rancho Providencia in the San Fernando Valley of southern California. It was a battle rooted in the fact that Mexico was choosing Mexicans to be Governors of Alta California instead of Californians. In 1842, the Mexican government appointed Manuel Micheltorena as governor. The native-born Californios did not like him and, by 1844, a revolt began.

The Burbank Metrolink Station, sometimes referred to as the Burbank Transportation Center, is a Metrolink rail station near downtown Burbank, California. It is served by Metrolink's Antelope Valley Line to Lancaster and Ventura County Line to East Ventura with both terminating at Los Angeles Union Station. Amtrak trains do not stop at this station; rather, Amtrak trains stop at the Burbank Airport station, adjacent to Bob Hope Airport, several miles to the northwest of downtown Burbank.

Rancho Providencia
Rancho La Providencia was a 4,064-acre Mexican land grant in present day Los Angeles County, California given by governor Juan B. Alvarado in 1843 to Vincente de la Osa. The majority of Rancho Providencia land north of the modern channel of the Los Angeles River is now part of Burbank. The street grid change along Burbank Boulevard marks the northwestern boundary of the rancho grant. The Walt Disney Studios, Warner Bros.
Rancho Cahuenga
Rancho Cahuenga was a 388-acre Mexican land grant in the San Fernando Valley, in present day Los Angeles County, California given in 1843 by governor Manuel Micheltorena to José Miguel Triunfo. Rancho Cahuenga is now a part of the city of Burbank, with the Los Angeles River channel running through it.

Burbank Western Channel (also known as Burbank Western Wash) is a 6.3-mile-long tributary of the Los Angeles River in the eastern San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles County, California. The stream begins at the confluence of Hansen Heights Channel and La Tuna Canyon Lateral in Sun Valley. It runs adjacent to Interstate 5 for most of its length and is entirely encased in a concrete flood control channel.
Chili John's
Chili John's is a restaurant located in Burbank, California that opened in 1946. Lithuanian immigrant John Isaac began serving Southwestern chili at his Green Bay bar in 1900. Thirteen years later, the chili grew so popular that he renamed the establishment Chili John's. Son Ernie moved to Los Angeles and launched Chili John’s of California in 1946, installing the U-shaped counter and, since he was an avid fisherman, painted the mountain lake mural.
