Slab Creek Dam (National ID # CA00823) is a dam in El Dorado County, California. The concrete arch dam was constructed in 1967 by the Sacramento Municipal Utility District, with a height of 250 feet, and a length of 825 feet at its crest. It impounds a tributary of the South Fork of the American River, Slab Creek, for hydroelectric power. The riverine reservoir it creates, Slab Creek Reservoir, has a normal water surface of 249 acres, and a normal capacity of 16,600 acre-feet.
