California State University, Chico
California State University, Chico (Chico State) is the second-oldest campus in the twenty-three-campus California State University system. It is located in Chico, California, about ninety miles north of Sacramento. As of the Fall 2012 semester, the university had a total enrollment of 16,470 students. The university offers 126 types of Bachelor's degrees, 35 Master's degrees, and four types of teaching credentials. The school does not confer Doctoral degrees.
Nettleton Stadium
Nettleton Stadium is a baseball stadium in Chico, California on the campus of California State University, Chico. It is the home field for the CSU Chico Baseball team, the Wildcats. It holds 4,200 people. The stadium was named for majority owner of the Chico Heat, Steve Nettleton and his wife Kathy Nettleton. The Nettleton family donated the 4.5 million dollar facility to CSU.

Barber, California
The Barber Neighborhood is a working class residential neighborhood in Chico, California, generally south of Little Chico Creek and west of Park avenue. The Barber Neighborhood Association represents the interests of the neighborhood to the community. This neighborhood was originally the settlement of Barber, California built to house the employees of the adjacent Diamond Match Factory. The neighborhood was named after Ohio Columbus Barber, president of the Diamond Match Company.
Chapmantown, California
Chapmantown (originally called Chapman's Addition, Kenyan Oaks, and also Chapmanville) is an unincorporated community in Butte County, California. It lies at an elevation of 207 feet (63 m). It is a working class residential neighborhood. The neighborhood is named after Augustus Chapman. Chapmantown is entirely surrounded by the city of Chico but is not part of the city. Chapmantown has no representation on the Chico City Council. Rather, it is under the jurisdiction of the County of Butte.

Stirling Junction is an unincorporated community in Butte County, California. It lies at an elevation of 203 feet (62 m). The place is at the junction of the Sacramento Northern and the Southern Pacific Railroads In 1912, the junction of the Northern Pacific and the Butte County Railroads was here.
