Founded in 1891, Livermore High School is a public high school located in the city of Livermore, California, USA, and is part of the Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District (LVJUSD). In 2007, it was chosen as one in four schools in Alameda County to receive the California Distinguished School award.

Trevarno, Livermore, California
Trevarno, California is a section of Livermore, Alameda County, California, built by a Cornish company, based in Trevarno, near Helston, manufacturing safety fuses. It is between First Street and the railroad. It lies at an elevation of 535 feet (163 m). Officials of Coast Manufacturing and Supply Company in Livermore named the area after George Bickford's home in Cornwall. The company made safety fuses invented by William Bickford, George's father.
Mocho Subbasin
The Mocho Subbasin is the largest of the groundwater subbasins in the Livermore Valley watershed. This subbasin is bounded to the west by the Livermore Fault Zone and to the east by the Tesla Fault. Some groundwater flow occurs across these fault boundaries, but flows are discontinuous below a depth of fifty feet across the Tesla Fault and south of the Arroyo Mocho channel across the Livermore Fault. Surface watercourses in this unit include Arroyo del Valle and Arroyo Seco.

Laddville, California
Laddville (or "Laddsville") is a former settlement in Alameda County, California. It was located east of the settlement which eventually became Livermore. A hotel was started in 1855 by Alphonso Ladd, and the community that grew up surrounding the hotel became Laddville. When the railroad was built through the Livermore Valley, the station was placed west of Laddville near the nascent Livermore. Through growth the city limits of Livermore came to extend over the site of Laddville.
Rancho Las Positas
Rancho Las Positas was a 8,880-acre Mexican land grant in present day Alameda County, California given in 1839 by governor Juan Alvarado to Robert Livermore and Jose Noriega. Las Positas means "little watering holes" in Spanish. The rancho included the present day city of Livermore.
