Yancopin Bridge
The Yancopin Bridge is an abandoned railroad trestle spanning the Arkansas River, and the last bridge across the Arkansas River before it flows into the Mississippi River 15 miles south-east. The Yancopin Bridge is an all-metal truss bridge, with one lift span and one swing span, and wooden trestles at both ends. Bridge construction was completed in 1903, and carried rail traffic first for the Missouri-Pacific Railroad, and then for the Union Pacific Corporation.
