Show Low, Arizona
Show Low is a city in Navajo County, Arizona, United States. It lies on the Mogollon Rim in east central Arizona, at an elevation of 6,400 feet (1,951 m). The city was established in 1870 and incorporated in 1953. According to 2007 Census Bureau estimates, the population was 11,763. According to the legend, the city was named after a marathon poker game between C.E. Cooley and Marion Clark. The two men decided there was not enough room for both of them in their settlement.
McNary, Arizona
McNary is a census-designated place (CDP) in Apache and Navajo counties in the U.S. state of Arizona. The population was 349 at the 2000 census. It is a 30 minute drive from Show Low and only a 10 minute drive from Pinetop-Lakeside.
Pinetop-Lakeside, Arizona
Pinetop–Lakeside is a town in Navajo County, Arizona, United States. According to 2006 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the town is 4,156. It was founded in 1984 when the neighboring towns of Pinetop and Lakeside merged. Pinetop–Lakeside is a popular summer resort and second-home area for Arizona desert residents. In 2002, a large forest fire, the Rodeo-Chediski fire, threatened the town and forced an evacuation.

Northland Pioneer College (NPC) is a regionally accredited, publicly supported, comprehensive community college serving a large and diverse area in Navajo County, Arizona. Campuses are located in four of the largest Navajo County communities: Holbrook, Show Low, Snowflake, and Winslow. Five centers are located in Hopi, Kayenta, Eagar, St. Johns, and Whiteriver. NPC also partners with community members in Apache County, Arizona.
Show Low Lake
Show Low Lake is a 100-acre lake nestled at 6,500 feet elevation in the White Mountains of Arizona which is administered by the Arizona Game and Fish Department along with the city of Show Low. Show Low Lake Park is located five miles (8 km) south of Show Low.

Rainbow Lake (Arizona)

Scott Reservoir
Built in 1928, Scott Reservoir is an irrigation impoundment on Porter Creek near Pinetop-Lakeside, Arizona. The least developed of the "in town" lakes, trees surround Scott Reservoir. It lies just outside the town limits on the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests.
Woodland Reservoir (Arizona)
Located in the heart of Pinetop-Lakeside, Woodland Lake and the park surrounding it have been called the town's "Crown Jewel. " In addition to trout fishing, the lake provides a host of other outdoor recreation opportunities. Woodland Lake lies on Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests property, just west of White Mountain Blvd. in Pinetop.
Fool Hollow Lake
Fool Hollow Lake is a public lake located in Navajo County, Arizona, near the city of Show Low. The lake is operated by the Arizona State Parks Department, and consists of 150 acres, with an average depth of 23 feet together with a variety of fish species.

The district once was affiliated with a high school, the McNary High School, which closed in 1980. The old high school, located in the same place where the district and the elementary school now are, used the current district mascot, the Green Devils. The district superintendent is Mary Ann Wade.
