Chena River State Recreation Site (also called Chena Wayside) is a 29-acre (0.12 km²) state park in Fairbanks in the U.S. state of Alaska. It features access to the Chena River as well as a campground, picnic area, and pedestrian trails.

KXLR
KXLR is a commercial album-oriented rock music radio station in Fairbanks, Alaska, broadcasting on 95.9 FM. It signed on the air in 1990 and was originally owned by Northern Television, the then-parent company of KTVF and KCBF. In May 2007, KXLR switched from standard classic rock to album-oriented rock under the branding "X-Rock". World Ice Art Championships
The World Ice Art Championships is an ice sculpting contest in Fairbanks, Alaska put on by Ice Alaska, a non-profit corporation started in 1989. The contest is the largest of its kind in the world and attended by more than 100 sculptors from 30 different countries every year. The contest also draws tens of thousands of spectators; in 2004, 48,000 people from more than 28 countries passed through the park's gates.
Noyes Slough
Noyes Slough is a secondary channel of the Chena River contained entirely within the city limits of Fairbanks, Alaska. It is approximately 7 miles long and separates the Garden Island district of Fairbanks from the rest of the town. During the summer, the slough is used by canoeists and waterfowl. In the winter, the slough freezes and is used by cross-country skiers, snowshoers, and mushers.
