The Tuscaloosa Public Library is a city/county agency located in the city of Tuscaloosa, serving a population of over 184,035 in Tuscaloosa County in the state of Alabama, USA. Old University of Alabama Observatory
The Old University of Alabama Observatory, now known as Frederick R. Maxwell Hall, was an astronomical observatory owned and operated by the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Although no longer used as an observatory, the building has been restored and preserved. It currently houses the university's Creative Campus Assembly, an organization dedicated to building a collaborative environment between students, faculty, and the community.

Hugh R. Thomas Bridge
The Hugh Rowe Thomas Bridge is a six-lane, girder bridge spanning the Black Warrior River along U.S. 43 and Alabama State Route 69 connecting downtown Tuscaloosa and Northport in Tuscaloosa County, Alabama that opened in 1974. The bridge is "splitted" in Tuscaloosa to accompany two major throughfares (Lurleen Wallace Boulevard North and South), before joining together heading towards Northport. As of 2008, the average daily traffic count for the bridge is approximately 68,400 vehicles.
Tuscaloosa County High School (historical)
Tuscaloosa County High School original building was completed in 1926. The first graduating class was summer of 1927. The Principal was Dr. Houston Cole, who later became President of Jacksonville State University. The first student government for the school was organized in 1928. Hiram Darden was the first president. Secretary for that class was Inez Deal. The treasurer was Dan Whitson. Built as a high school for the county, many rural county schools were closed.
Tuscaloosa Amphitheater
The Tuscaloosa Amphitheater is an outdoor amphitheater in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, USA that is used primarily for music performances. It has a seating capacity of 7,470. The amphitheater is located on Jack Warner Parkway, just beside the Hugh R. Thomas Bridge; only minutes away from the University of Alabama campus and blocks from the downtown. It is the largest outdoor theater in West Alabama.
