Huntsville is a city located primarily in Madison County in the central part of the far northern region of the U.S. state of Alabama. Huntsville is the county seat of Madison County. The city extends west into neighboring Limestone County. Huntsville's population was 180,105 as of the 2010 Census. The Huntsville Metropolitan Area's population was 417,593.

Randolph School

Randolph School is an American independent private kindergarten-through-12th-grade college preparatory school chartered in 1959 in Huntsville, Madison County, Alabama. It started in an antebellum home on Randolph Street with just a few elementary classes. A few years later it moved to a much larger 17-acre campus on Drake Avenue, where it is now located, gradually adding grade levels until having a graduating high school class in the early 1970s.

Von Braun Center

The Von Braun Center (VBC), known as the Von Braun Civic Center (VBCC) until 1997, is a multi-purpose indoor arena, meeting, and performing arts complex, with a maximum arena seating capacity of 10,000, located in Huntsville, Alabama. The Huntsville-Madison County Public Library is a public, Carnegie library in Huntsville, Alabama. Founded in 1818, when Alabama was still a part of the Mississippi Territory, it is the oldest continuing library in the state. Joe W. Davis Stadium

Olde Towne Brewing Company was a brewery located in Huntsville, AL. Founded in 2004, the Olde Towne Brewing Company was the first microbrewery in Huntsville, AL, since the repeal of Prohibition. The brewery debuted August 12, 2004, at Humphrey's Bar & Grill, a local establishment. In the early hours of July 5, 2007, the building that housed the company suffered a fire and was a complete loss.

Milton Frank Stadium is a 12,000-seat multi-purpose stadium in Huntsville, Alabama. It was used for Alabama A&M football games before the creation of Louis Crews Stadium. Big Spring Jam

Big Spring Jam was an annual music festival taking place in Huntsville, Alabama. The Jam, which began in 1993, typically took place the fourth weekend in September. From 1993 to 2009, this was a three-day beginning Friday and ending Sunday. The 2011 revival was a two-day event on Friday and Saturday only. Helion Lodge

Lowe Mill

Lowe Mill is an historic old cotton mill of approximately 171,000 sq ft located at 2211 Seminole Drive, Huntsville, Alabama 35805. In 1900, Arthur H. Lowe of Fitchburg, Massachusetts formed Lowe Manufacturing Co, and began the building of Huntsville’s fifth textile mill. Lowe Mill opened in 1901 with 25,000 spindles that helped to turn locally-grown cotton into woven cloth. In 1902, Eastern Manufacturing Company built the final large mill in Huntsville, a weaving mill across from Lowe Mill.

Dead Children's Playground

Hidden amongst the old beech trees within the limits of Maple Hill Cemetery lies the Dead Children's Playground, which in local stories is said to be haunted by the children buried nearby.
