Loachapoka, Alabama

Loachapoka is a town in Lee County, Alabama, United States. It is located seven miles (11 km) west of Auburn in west-central Lee County. The population was 165 as of the 2000 census. It is part of the Auburn Metropolitan Area. The name "Loachapoka" means "turtle sitting place" in Muskogee. In literature, Lochapoka was the destination of the colonists in James H. Street's 1940 novel Oh, Promised Land.

Beard–Eaves–Memorial Coliseum

Beard–Eaves–Memorial Coliseum is a 10,500-seat multi-purpose arena on the campus of Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama. The arena, which opened in 1969, is best known as the former home of the Auburn men's and women's basketball and women's gymnastics teams. The teams finished their stays at the facility at the end of the 2009–10 season, with all of its tenants moving into the new Auburn Arena opening in time for the 2010–11 season.

Samford Stadium – Hitchcock Field at Plainsman Park

Samford Stadium – Hitchcock Field at Plainsman Park is the college baseball venue for the Auburn University Tigers. As of 2006, its seating capacity is 4,096. In 2003, Baseball America rated the facility the best college baseball venue in the country. The park's signature is its 37-foot high left field fence, which is 315 feet from home plate. Auburn Sports Arena

Auburn Sports Arena was a 2,500 seat multi-purpose arena in Auburn, Alabama. Nicknamed "The Barn," it opened in 1946. It was home to the Auburn University Tigers basketball team. It was replaced when the Beard-Eaves-Memorial Coliseum opened in 1968. It was destroyed in 1996 during the Auburn-LSU football game when a fire started due to a grill placed too close to the building.

Felton Little Park

Felton Little Park (originally Auburn City Park) is a municipal park in Auburn, Alabama, United States. Felton Little Park is the oldest park in Auburn. From 1949 until 1968, the park was the home stadium of the Auburn High School Tigers football team, and from 1949 through 1967, the Auburn High School baseball team. Today, Felton Little Park has three softball fields for youth leagues. The park is named for Felton Little, an Auburn city councilman who donated the land for the park.
