Pontcysyllte Aqueduct
The Pontcysyllte Aqueduct (full name in Welsh: Traphont Ddŵr Pontcysyllte) is a navigable aqueduct that carries the Llangollen Canal over the valley of the River Dee in Wrexham County Borough in north east Wales. Completed in 1805, it is the longest and highest aqueduct in Britain, a Grade I Listed Building and a World Heritage Site.

The Rock (stadium)
The Rock, Rhosymedre, near Wrexham, Wales is the planned site for the new stadium for Cefn Druids. In March 2009, their existing stadium was given planning permission to be demolished and replaced with a Tesco supermarket. Delays to the beginning of construction put the project back by 12 months and the club moved in to the new stadium in August 2010.
Rhosymedre
Rhosymedre is a village within the community of Cefn and the county borough of Wrexham, Wales. The Anglican church, which was consecrated in 1837, is dedicated to St John the Evangelist, and is part of the Diocese of St Asaph. Former vicars include John David Edwards (vicar 1843-1885), whose most famous hymn tune composition is Rhosymedre. Rhosymedre Halt railway station served the village from 1906 to 1959.
Trevor Basin
Trevor Basin is a Canal basin on the Llangollen Canal, situated near Trevor, in Clwyd, between Llangollen and Ruabon. The basin was originally built at the northern end of the central section of the Ellesmere Canal, just 150yds north of the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct. With the abandonment of the planned extension to Chester, Trevor Basin became the terminus of the Ellesmere Canal itself. The canal was later extended westwards, to Llangollen and the Horseshoe Falls, to act as a feeder.
Cefn railway station
Cefn railway station was a minor railway station on the Great Western Railway's London to Birkenhead main line serving the mining village of Cefn Mawr in Wales. It had an adjacent signal box but the station seems not to have handled freight traffic. The remains of the station and yard area can be seen just to the north of Cefn Viaduct (also known as Dee Viaduct). Although the station is gone the railway is still open today as part of the Shrewsbury to Chester Line.
Rhosymedre Halt railway station
Rhosymedre Halt was a minor railway station on the Great Western Railway's London to Birkenhead main line, serving the mining village of Rhosymedre near Cefn Mawr in Wales. Although the station is gone, the railway is still open today as part of the Shrewsbury to Chester Line. The station was situated in a deep cutting amidst a number of overbridges, and nothing now remains of the old platforms.
Ruabon Brook Tramway
The Ruabon Brook Tramway was a Welsh branch railway line linking the Ruabon coalfield to the Shropshire Union Canal at Pontcysyllte, with a private extension into the Monsanto works at Cefn Mawr which reconnected to the main line at Trevor. The area was rich in coal, clay and minerals. The tramway was opened on 26 Nov 1805 between Pontcysyllte and Acrefair.
