Ysgol Morgan Llwyd
Ysgol Morgan Llwyd is a Welsh Medium school in Wrexham, in north-east Wales. It is the first, and only Welsh Language Secondary school in Wrexham County Borough. It is named after the renowned seventeenth century Welsh author Morgan Llwyd. The school has been open at its present location in Cefn Road, Wrexham, since 2000. Previously it was located on Stockwell Grove, Wrexham. The current Headmaster is Mr. Huw Foster Evans and the current Deputy Headmaster is Mr. Huw Robertson.
Rhosnesni
Rhosnesni is a ward in the community of Acton in Wrexham, Wales and constitutes an electoral division of the town of Wrexham. The settlement developed around the toll gate on Holt Road (the cottage of which still stands) and was expanded in the late 19th century by the addition of estate houses for the Acton Park estate. Following the breakup of the Acton estate in the 20th century much of the local land was bought up by private developers and Rhosnesni became an urban area.
Eagles Meadow
Eagles Meadow is now a medium sized shopping centre in central Wrexham. Previously this area has had a variety of uses over hundreds of years. Originally used as stables for local gentry it has now been developed into a major shopping centre. Eagles Meadow was originally lying on lower land than the surrounding area, this has changed with the new development. The opening of Eagles Meadow was Thursday 30 October 2008 at 10am.
Marchwiel
Marchwiel is a village and a local government community, the lowest tier of local government, part of Wrexham County Borough in Wales. It is about 2 miles south-east of Wrexham town on the A525 road towards Bangor-on-Dee. The community has an area of 1,488 hectares and a population of 1,418. There are several large country houses in the area including Marchwiel Hall, Bryn-y-grog, Old Sontley and Erddig Hall, now a National Trust property and a popular tourist attraction.
