Rhoose Cardiff International Airport railway station
Rhoose Cardiff International Airport railway station is a railway station that serves the village of Rhoose and Cardiff Airport in South Wales. A dedicated shuttle bus connects this station with the airport terminal building. The station is located on the Vale of Glamorgan Line 11+⁄2 miles west of Cardiff Central towards Bridgend via Barry and before Llantwit Major. This station opened on 12 June 2005.
Rhoose Point
Rhoose Point (Welsh: Trwyn y Rhws) is the most southerly point of mainland Wales, although Breaksea Point also makes that claim. It lies on the southern coast of South Wales and projects into the Bristol Channel. Nearby used to be a cement works. On that site there is now a development of 600 houses that has greatly extended the village of Rhoose. There are plans to build more on Rhoose Point.
Fonmon Castle
Fonmon Castle is a fortified medieval castle near the village of Fonmon in the Vale of Glamorgan. Since the castle was built by the St. John family in around 1200, it has only changed hands once. Oliver St John of Fonmon was one of the Twelve Knights of Glamorgan who effected the Norman conquest of Glamorgan. The St John family is today represented by the Viscounts Bolingbroke.
Aberthaw Lime Works
Aberthaw Lime Works is a derelict structure, located on the South Wales coast, between Fontygary Bay and Aberthaw Power Station. The structure is a Grade II Listed Building. The Aberthaw Lime Works was opened on 22 December 1888, by the Aberthaw Pebble Limestone Company. It was built to utilise the huge number of Limestone Pebbles that had previously been taken inland or been moved by boat. The Lime Works operated until 1926.

Aberthaw High Level railway station was the Barry Railway station which served Aberthaw, located near the north shore of the Bristol Channel in the former Welsh county of South Glamorgan, and in the current county of Vale of Glamorgan.
RAF Rhoose
RAF Rhoose was a World War II Royal Air Force airfield, opened 7 April 1942 as an RAF training base for Supermarine Spitfire pilots. No 53 Operational Training Unit Llandow was the parent station, and Rhoose was a satellite landing ground.
B4265 road
The B4265 road (often known as the Barry-Llantwit road) is a main road in the Vale of Glamorgan, southeastern Wales, running in a northwesterly direction along near the coast. It links Cardiff International Airport (CIA) to Bridgend, lasting for 15.9 miles (25.6 km). The road begins at the roundabout near the airport and the village of Penmark at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:51|24|21|N|3|20|39|W| | |name= }} as a continuation of the A4226 road leading from Barry.
