St Illtyd's Church, Llantwit Major
St Illtyd's Church is a medieval church in Llantwit Major, Vale of Glamorgan, southeast Wales. It is one of the oldest and best-known parish churches in Wales.
Schwyll Aquifer
Schwyll Aquifer (pronounced 'Shwill') was historically known as 'the Great Spring of Glamorgan'. Until recently, Welsh Water used the resurgence at the Schwyll Spring near Ewenny as the main source of water for the Bridgend area. It now functions as a backup supply and as such has a number of associated source protection zones policed by the Environment Agency.
Cor Tewdws
Cor Tewdws or Bangor Tewdws (College of Theodosius) was a monastery and school in what is now Llantwit Major, Glamorgan, Wales. It was a primary learning center of Britain until the Norman conquest, after which point the English schools surpassed it. It was finally closed down by Henry VIII during the Dissolution of the Monasteries. Named for the Roman Emperor Theodosius I, by whom it is said to have been established, it was one of the earliest schools in Britain.
Llantwit Major Roman Villa
The Llantwit Major Roman Villa was a Roman L-shaped courtyard villa located at what is now Caermead, immediately north of the town of Llantwit Major in the Welsh county of South Glamorgan. The villa was first discovered in 1887 and was fully excavated in 1938-9 and 1948. There was another excavation in 1971. The site may have been occupied in the late Iron Age. The first stone structure was erected in the 2nd century.

Llandow Circuit is a motorsport circuit at Llandow, Vale of Glamorgan, 15 miles south west of Cardiff, Wales. As one of the smaller Circuits in the UK, Llandow offers a unique opportunity for Novice and Intermediate users to enjoy some technically challenging corners in a controlled environment. Llandow Circuit is available for of Testing, Trackdays and hire for exclusive events. Llandow Kart Circuit, run by South Wales Karting Centre, is immediately adjacent to the main circuit.

RAF Llandow
RAF Llandow was a Royal Air Force airfield situated near the village of Llandow, Vale of Glamorgan, South Wales, 15 miles west of Cardiff. It opened in 1940 and closed in 1957. It was while training at this airfield in 1941 that John Gillespie Magee, Jr. wrote his famous poem, "High Flight. " The major RAF unit based at Llandow throughout its existence was No. 38 Maintenance Unit (38 MU) which was tasked with the reception, storage and despatch of RAF aircraft.
