Barry Town F.C
Barry Town FC (Welsh: Clwb Pêl Droed Tref Y Barri) is an association football team based in Barry. They are best known for dominating the Welsh Premier League during the 1990s and early 2000s (decade), but finished bottom in 2003–04 and were relegated. The team is now funded by supporters, independent of the parent company Barry Town AFC Ltd. They play at Jenner Park, Barry, Vale of Glamorgan, where their ground accommodates 3,000 spectators (2,000 seated).
Barry Island
Barry Island (Welsh: Ynys y Barri) is a district, peninsula and seaside resort, forming part of the town of Barry in the Vale of Glamorgan, South Wales. It is named after the 6th century Saint Baruc. Barry's stretch of coast, on the Bristol Channel, has the world's second highest tidal range of 15 metres, second only to Bay of Fundy in Eastern Canada. The peninsula was an island until the 1880s when it was linked to the mainland as the town of Barry expanded.
Barry Tourist Railway
The Barry Tourist Railway (formerly the Barry Island Railway) is a railway developed to attract visitors to Barry in the Vale of Glamorgan, South Wales. It is a key element of the Barry Rail Centre which also includes engineering and training facilities. An unusual aspect of the railway is that for several hundred yards across from Barry to Barry Island the trackbed used is directly alongside the Network Rail track which uses the original up line, with the Barry Tourist Railway using the down.
Barry Island railway station
Barry Island railway station is a railway station, 9¼ miles (15 km) south-west of Cardiff Central, serving Barry Island (Welsh: Ynys y Barri) in South Wales. The station has been the terminus – and only remaining active station – of the Barry Island branch of the Vale of Glamorgan Line since the closure of Barry Pier station in 1976. Passenger services, operated by Arriva Trains Wales as part of the Valley Lines network, currently use the first half of platform 1.

Barry railway station is one of three stations serving the town of Barry, Vale of Glamorgan in South Wales. It is located on the Vale of Glamorgan Line, which runs from Cardiff Central to Bridgend via Barry, Rhoose, and Llantwit Major. A short branch off this line connects Barry to Barry Island. Passenger services are operated by Arriva Trains Wales as part of the Valley Lines network.
Jenner Park Stadium
Jenner Park is a stadium in Barry, Vale of Glamorgan, Wales. It is the home of football club, Barry Town, and has been since 1913, when local volunteers and businesses worked together to build the new ground for the newly-formed football team. Initially starting with two wooden stands, popular bank terracing was added in 1923, but years of battling with financial problems saw the ground deteriorate.

It is on the outskirts of the main town and links to Pontypridd Road and the A4050 road out of Barry. Prior to the housing development of Cwm Talwg, it was a pig farm; cows, pigs and sheep roamed freely.

Holton is a central district of Barry in the Vale of Glamorgan 9 miles outside Cardiff in south Wales. As the Central business district of Barry it is dominated by Barry shopping centre and Barry Town Library. It also has Holton Road School which is the biggest primary school in the vale and it was built in 1895.
Wenvoe Castle Golf Club
Wenvoe Castle Golf Club is an 18-hole golf course near Barry and Wenvoe in the Vale of Glamorgan off the A4050 road, situated to the south of Cardiff, the capital of Wales. The club was founded in 1936 around Wenvoe Castle, a mansion that was the home of Hugh Jenner, the club's first president. Wenvoe Castle is a well-designed James Braid parkland course.
Highlight Park
Highlight Park is a small district on the northern outskirts of Barry in the Vale of Glamorgan in south Wales. It is a circular housing estate built in the 1970s by Wimpy Homes. The area has a Tesco supermarket, a chemist, a community centre, a doctors' surgery and a fire station which was built before the housing complex.
Barry Hospital
Barry Hospital is a hospital on Colcot Road in Barry, Vale of Glamorgan, Wales. It is operated by the Cardiff and Vale University Health Board and was established in 1995. The hospital has several outpatients departments, a minor injuries unit, dentistry, podiatry and x-ray facilities.
Barry Council Office and Library
Barry Council Office and Library is located in King's Square, Barry, Wales. The building originally housed the town hall (opened 1908) and Carnegie library (opened 1906). At the beginning of the 21st century the building was restored and a new wing was provided for the library. The redevelopment of the former town hall building cost £371,000, £124,000 more than had been set aside, the increased cost sparked an inquiry in February 2008.
King's Square
King's Square is a town square in central Barry, Wales located at a central shopping point of Holton Road. The square was originally known as Town Hall Square after the Town Hall was opened in 1908. In June 1910 it was proposed it was renamed King Edward Square after Edward VIII, but as the proclamation ceremony of George V's ascent to the throne of had been held there the previous month, it was renamed simply, as King's Square.
Barry Dock Offices
Barry Docks Offices is a council building in Barry, Vale of Glamorgan in south-east Wales. It was built in the late nineteenth century by David Davies to regulate the substantial coal exporting trade which had grown to world prominence in the town Barry Docks. The Dock Offices were badly damaged by fire about ten years ago, but have been restored by Associated British Ports (ABP), and now house part of the Vale of Glamorgan Council.

King's Square bus station is the bus station for Barry, Vale of Glamorgan, Wales. It is located on King's Square in the town centre. It mainly handles Cardiff Bus services around the town and to neighbouring Cardiff.
St Lythans burial chamber
The St Lythans burial chamber (Welsh: siambr gladdu Lythian Sant) is a single stone megalithic dolmen, built around 6,000 BP as part of a chambered long barrow, during the mid Neolithic period, in what is now known as the Vale of Glamorgan, Wales. It lies about one km (0.62 miles) to the west of the hamlet of St Lythans, near Dyffryn Gardens.
Welsh Hawking Centre
The Welsh Hawking Centre and Children's Animal Park is a hawking centre on Weycock Road on the northwestern outskirts of Barry, Vale of Glamorgan, in southern Wales. It contains the largest collection of birds of prey in Wales, with over 200 birds on site including eagles, owls, hawks, falcons and buzzards. In 2007 seven falcon chicks were stolen from the centre.
Ysgol Gyfun Bro Morgannwg
Ysgol Gyfun Bro Morgannwg is a Welsh medium comprehensive school in the town of Barry in the Vale of Glamorgan, on the coast of south Wales. It is located adjacent to Barry Hospital. The school was established in September 2000, in what was formerly the Lower School of Barry Comprehensive School. By 2002, there were 24 teachers and 369 pupils in year 7 to 9 at the school.

Wenvoe Castle
Wenvoe Castle was a castle and country estate between Barry and Wenvoe, in the Vale of Glamorgan, south Wales. Today the former estate forms the Wenvoe Castle Golf Club. Goldsland lies on its western boundary.
Goldsland
Goldsland is a small hamlet and farm in the Vale of Glamorgan in south Wales. It is located near the boundary of the Wenvoe Castle Golf Club in the parish of Wenvoe. It lies to the east of Dyffryn and south of St Lythans and the road leading from the west passes through the farms of Old and New Wallace. Goldsland Brook flows through here. A sub-manor was reportedly held at Goldsland by a Mathew of Llandaff under the manor of Wenvoe in 1583.
