Castell Coch
Castell Coch (English: Red Castle) is a 19th-century Gothic Revival castle built on the remains of a genuine 13th-century fortification. It is situated on a steep hillside high above the village of Tongwynlais, to the north of Cardiff in Wales, and is a Grade I listed building as of 28 January 1963.

Treforest Estate railway station is a small railway station built to serve the workers of Treforest Industrial Estate. Castell Coch Woodlands and Road Section is a Site of Special Scientific Interest in Glamorgan, South Wales, significant for both its biological and geological interest. The SSSI covers and area of 17 hectares around the Victorian gothic castle of Castell Coch, 5 miles, 8 km north-west of Cardiff. The steep south and west facing slopes have extensive beech woodlands - thought to be the furthest west that such woods occur.
Walnut Tree Viaduct
Walnut Tree Viaduct was a railway viaduct located above the northern edge of the village of Radyr, in Cardiff, South Wales. Originally built to carry the Barry Railway across the River Taff, it was deconstructed in 1969, leaving only two of the support columns visible from the A470 road.
